The issue you had with the defective needle, I had a similar issue once too, once I heard it start sounding too "off" I pulled back and dry ran it for a couple of seconds and the mechanism snapped shoving the entire length out of the tip, so that's definitely something other artists using cartridge needles should watch for so as to not risk seriously hurting themselves or others
Finally!!! I have been struggling with getting consistent flow out of these universal cartridges and this is the first video that gave me that got me thinking about trying to get in the damn thing so see whats going on. i just popped the back piece off and sure as shit the needle had quite a bit of play and was shooting out the top of the tube completely missing the ink. Gave it a bend and fiddled with it a bit to get the little membrane back on it whattya know the fucking thing works like a dream!! This is my first rotary pen (javelin tornado) so i don't have much to compare it to but its alot easier to pull a line with this then it was using my coils thats for sure. I'm grateful for your diligence putting stuff out there like this. Look forward to trying out one of your machines once i get my training wheels off and can afford it. Cheers!
you can also swop out needles, carts like t-tech or simlar you can do it to, if you pull the back off i have a vid on my feed that shows how to swop out needles to any companies needles you like, its easy and very simple. ive been doing it for years.

Will a coil machine push those without using extreme voltage. I've used coils and cartridges but they required substantial more voltage. I use membranes. How much softer with no membranes? Will they ease up enough for the coils to run on less volts. I use cartridges with rotaries and standard needles with coils but if i could find the right cartridge where im not pushing my coils i would use cartridges for both exclusively. Thanks buddy

I've been using helios for about 8 months now on an Inkjecta flite, cheyenne pen, cheyenne thunder, Bishop magi, Fk direct and a few custome machines and they are hands down my favorite. I have am always looping my needles and since I have been using helios they are always spot on sharp/ never barbed. I also like how they are consistent with the length on the back stem if I use different line weights the length is always the same when the back stem is pushed so I dont have to keep adjusting my grip depth. also looks like the needles are mirror finished so the penetration has no lag piercing the skin. Gaston have you used them yet? what are ur main go to cartridges?

Can yâall make a plug to go into the clip cord hole in power supply that is dual to connect to 2 clip cord ends, basically a cable that turns a 1 hole clip cord power supply to two, in case you are tattooing with a clip cord machine a rca so we donât be changing cables and can have them connected to the power supply without having to disconnect it
Just buy a power supply with more than one machine hookup. Ive seen some with up to four 1/4" jack holes. Mine has two. Made by critical. And you can save the settings for each. Good luck.

I always use Cheyenne Savety cardridges Made in Germany,this is for me the best Quality on the Market.Da Vinci cardridges are insane Quality.

I did used cartridge 7rL and its too shaky. My working volts was 5.75.. why is it shaky and sometimes it stuck in the skin. I'm currently using rotary tattoo machine. Please i need your advise. Thank you!

my needle cartridge keeps springing out of the machine. Why is it, I've turned it tight but it comes lose and it launches out, when on.
same problem here, no idea why. If the problem is still relevant try not to touch the cartridge with your fingers while tattooing, it helps me a bit, but it still pops out sometimes
Can you upload videos that aren't live streamed?? Makes it soooo hard to listen and watch and most of the info I am looking for is glitched out. Your products interest me greatly but it is frustrating trying to learn about them through glitchy videos. Maybe try recording with another camera at the same time and then uploading that version?
Idk if its just the box of needles i got but the cartridge keep falling out in middle of tattooing is there something to prevent that or do i need to get a different brand of needles

So I have a question I have never seen anyone actually show the depth of needle of tattoo pen like after they insert the cartridge and show how far the needle needs to be out on a cartridge itâs difficult to no just would like a video to show that cause Iâm very new to cartridges
Cupid Moralez I know this comment is super old but Iâm struggling with the same thing. My needles are sticking out super far (like 5mm maybe even 6?!) when I put my cartridge in. Is there a way to adjust this???
Emily Hobbs usually thereâs a knob around the machine you can turn to pull it up or pull it down, mine has a turning point where you hold the machine and insert the cart and thatâs how you do it

Just test this grip and when I try to use the Ez cartridges they jump out and do not fit well, as if the grip hole was too big.
Anyone else had this problem?

the simple ez has this and some other problems, but revolution is much better quality

Idk if anyone is still replying to this but I just started out with a new Spektra machine and cartridges but I keep getting rattling noises and the needle moves so much sideways up and down that it's hard to get tight lines in :( It happened to my 5RL and 3RL.. Is it the backstem? I wanna completely switch to carts but I'm having a ton of trouble with them!

If anyoneâs looking for affordable reliable needle I would go with BIG WASP . *** all though Iâve noticed that with thicker chubbier skin certain needles donât hit the skin deep enough. Still lookin for the right brand for chubbier skin .
Amazon has no clue that theyâve opened Pandoraâs box. Some kid came in and claimed he got a inkjecta flite nano for under 600$ itâs just crazy that I spent 2 years for the ability to purchase quality products that wonât mess up someoneâs skin and at least once a week we get men, woman, teenagers walking in with botched tats someone got off Amazon. The needles and machines look decent. Power supplies are crap and the ink they give are not for use on humans... but itâs all super fine print. Not everyone has $1500 to $5000 and 1 to 3 years of free time to apprentice. They will learn what they can by watching videos of different people giving out either proper info or someone giving terrible info and usually itâs always the terrible info that gets more views. My first real machine was passed down to me from my mentor. Itâs a coil which I love and hold dear to this day but I use a rotary. Iâve used the old school Bishops but now see those being sold on Amazon to (although they are not actually Bishop) I wonder why there arenât more law suits.. I saw eternal ink.. same ink I use except I purchase my ink from a licensed dealer. I get 2oz bottles but Iâve also hate the 1/2 oz... this kid had 12 1/2oz bottles that looked almost identical but the colors in the bottles were off and eternal has always put an embossed logo at the top of their labels. These bottles did not have it and they laid like crap. THE ONLY ink Iâve ever purchased off there was the Victor Portugal set. Only because I couldnât find it anywhere else and got lucky as it turned out to be authentic. But unfortunately thatâs not the case for most.. I even seen FK Irons machines on there.. Iâd love for you to do a video on how to watch out for counterfeits... even some âtattoo sitesâ have faux products passing them off as legit.

I just grabbed pack of 9 liners from big wasp and I feel like there food with tight skin . But looser rougher skin they donât hit the skin deep enough. I have a roommate who weighs 130 lbs the big wasps work on him perfect have another female friend whoâs a little chunky . The big wasp does no cooperate with her skin

Using a Cartridge to Line with is Dodgy as f imo.
They work well if you tattoo with the machine fast. Slow is definately dodgy

Glitchy video
Make sure to loupe your needles if you decide to flatten you'r mag's with your fingernail like that. I prefer to put pressure at the solder point so I don't run the risk of barbing my needle's.
Lol clearly you donât watch makeup videos. ....I donât blame you. PUT YOUR HAND BEHIND THE NEEDLE WHEN YOU WANT THE CAM TO FOCUS UP CLOSE. (The girls do it all the time when they show up Mac brushes they are using like it really matters đ)

While I can always appreciate a good video editor I would have to strongly disagree lol Iâd rather him know what heâs talking about tattoo wise than be a video editing guru. We are here for a good opinion mixed with some facts on these cartridges. This is peopleâs skin we are dealing with and I know from experience dealing with bad needles and even a slight bend in the tip will grab the skin. With the market flooded with different brands itâs hard to tell. Iâm currently switching from coils to rotary and the shop I work at we have one guy using rotaries. So more info I can gather will help, PainfulPleasures only helps so much with over the phone knowledge and with no recent expos the internet has been the only way most of us can survive this pandemic shut down.

Are cartridges supposed to wiggle a tiny bit side to side when clicked onto the grip? Mine does so Iâm wondering if my grip is cheaply made.
