I fished here many times bout 20yrs ago now..caught some massive barbel my best a 14lb.which I still have a pic on my wall. Also caught some lovely barbel under bridge swim. Gonna make a visit again soon. River canal and lake there
Last time I went I didn't get a bite, and had a big dog otter swim thru my swim. If you want to fish in nice surroundings, peace & quiet with a chance of a PB its well worth it
great fish in here Jamie and some big carp in the slow bit above the weir had a 20 common there some years back good fun in them pads

used to fish there in the early 80s it was great
