I can’t believe how short the episodes are considering how much material needs to be covered by the finale. Last week’s ep was so good and really had me hopeful for how things would turn out. This week’s episode showed that they’re going to screw it all up lol And I agree, the reveal about Anna’s stalker and Dex cheating just really fell flat for me.
I think they could possibly till pull it off. Episode 8 was great imo and the Cora and Dex situation felt so satisfying and needed. It didn’t feel out no where considering I still remember every character and moments that felt off that left me with questions. This “random” or “flat” scene that I see people calling it in the comment section is how it’s played in the book (I think).
I don’t think Dex is cheating though. I think Cora is working with the witches.
the student loans joke was literally the highlight of the episode for me 😭😭😭

The entire Cora thing felt like it was originally a whole episode but it got shortened to that crazy scene where she vomits out a years worth of information in 30 seconds (and Anna didn’t even cut a bish.)
cora was like ‘i tried to KILL your baby’ and Anna is like ‘Ok 😂’

i feel like i’m getting scammed. i really held back criticism for so long but it looks like they’re just gonna rush an unsatisfying ending that renders everything i put up with meaningless. if they nail this finale i think it’s salvageable, but people are saying it’s gonna be another 30 minute one?? girl i’m getting nervous
i was just talking to my mom about it and i was saying i feel like i got duped into watching a whole season of AHS again and it really fuckin sucks so far
I still like the season I just feel like it shouldn't be so short

Pacing was crazy. This episode felt so different until the end…
Im honestly so worried about the future of AHS if they keep going like this 😩 I understand the writers strike had a big impact on this season but truly they have been FLOPPING for the last few seasons overall. I’m not saying bring back murder house or anything but the show just has so much potential and they’re taking things in a really interesting direction which isn’t exactly working in my opinion
And that’s not to say I don’t like this season - it just could have been so much better 😩

Can’t even argue with that 😭 but from memory they’ve been renewed/greenlit for like 3 or 4 more seasons so I’m really curious to see what they do
Just lows, no highs this season. This season just keeps getting dumber.
I was really in disbelief with Cora's sudden exposition dump just coming completely out of nowhere, going on and on, and just awkwardly shoehorning in explaining 90% of everything.
I am enjoying Part 2 of this season, which is a first considering the last few episodes of AHS usually feel like a mess for me but having 9 episodes, 5 month break and short ep runtime is so ridiculous. I feel like they have so much content to make it into another seaaon. A final episode of 51 minutes is not going to cover all that's been brought up and leave me satisfied but honestly who knows I might be surprised.

The finale has so many unanswered questions, like it’s not even open ended it’s just plain unanswered, for example:
Unanswered questions:
- what happens now to the fertility dr now
- what’s the baby nursery at the end like a dream?
- never explained who Kim’s character was trying to outbeat with power (quote from Cara’s character “we doing all of this for her”) Kim’s character keep referring to men (thinking it was dex sr. who could of been Satan, l that person she was trynna have more power over him)
- what happens to everyone that died? Who will get blame for it, kamal, preecher and dex, won’t the police find their bodies?
- what happens to dex’s dad?
- who wrote “I tried to warn you” on the mirror of dex’s mom when she committed ‘self exit’ (was it preecher? Or was it the witches?)
- who kept watching Anna in dex’s friends house and why? (Not the apartment since that was Cora)
- Why was Anna BLACKING OUT FOR DAYS TO HOURS?
- revealed that Kim’s character was from 42 AD I believe, then how was it so easy to kill her?
- also what happened at the set of Rosemarys Baby? What did Kim’s character do to ‘help’ Mia?
- did she also write the script for rosemarys baby and the auteur? Or who even wrote the auteur?
- what did the ravens do to Anna in the basement when they strapped her down and inject her with something?
- did all the ravens also die? Since their chant was heard and you can see the fear in Anna’s face before it cuts to black in the ending?
- why oh why did we wear the Raven head piece?
- does she have powers now?
I have no idea why they didn’t let Dex or Anna have a scene where they acknowledge the relationship, or have a huge fight. The runtime is what pissed me off, both this and the finale should’ve been one hour.
I highly agree with you! I don’t mind if an AHS episode (specifically the finale) was 42minutes. I don’t really mind/care if they do not go back to the 50-60+ minute episodes anymore. I also kind of mind a 39 minute episode just as long as they’re used wisely. I’m just sick and tired of these 30-34 minute episodes without commercials.
I think I'm about done with this series. If they pull another doom and gloom finale I don't wanna watch another season.
The twist was out of nowhere, and totally without sense.

The poo jokes were a bit much. I guess having one writer isn’t enough.
My heart dropped when they had to introduce Sharon Tate into AHS again and considering what this series is about and the rumours about her, it's just made me feel like I've just about had it with them now... Last episode when they showed Adeline's background made me wonder if she was kinda inspired by mia farroes character and made me cry so much.
Like was Sharon trying to warn Mia in this or is she meant to be ominous?
I've actually read the book this season is based on, "Delicate Condition". It was a pretty good read for me, but what the biggest problem with this season is they tried to squeeze a lot of material into, what, 9 episodes? Another one of possible lows is straying from the book's plot, which didn't turn out to be such a smart move. Don't get me wrong, Delicate is not the worst season (DF exists), but it isn't the best one, either. I can just hope the finale is intriguing and not super rushed, but even that is questionable (given some people are saying it is 30 minutes long?), so we'll see. Fingers crossed. 🤞

But I still have hope for a good ending, looks like (from the trailer) they’re gonna show siobhan and dr hills connection and maybe reveal how dr hill works with the women, maybe how Siobhan had found Anna or something like that

I enjoyed the plot twist, but I was sad to see it not explained more thoroughly. That being said I'm loving this season! Absolutely hooked.
I’ve not enjoyed the last few season of ahs but I still come back to watch because I’m interested in what will happen next or whether old characters return from other seasons. This season has been pretty slow but so far I’m enjoying it.
Though this season was a bit underwhelming... Kim played herself really well lol.

Just as I thought, the flashbacks are good but I felt this one was extra. Not much adding except for the obvious. Lot of time wasted in Cora (which I felt so glee/scream queens coded). I was better to think the sabotage was because of the weird stuff happening around Anna than that.
I was expecting this to be a very intense episode but they are just leaving all for the final one, and now i'm worried. Pd. I think they 💀 Preech (and prob we wouldn't know whatever she did with Anna in ep. 1)

I like this season a lot but I feel like the writers (which I’m sure have changed since AHS was first created) are not giving what they gave in the first couple of seasons of AHS😭 back then, each season felt like it’s own universe and was packed with emotion, camp, horror, thrill etc etc. The last couple of seasons feel like a easy watch with no real impact. This season has kept me interested throughout but the characters are lacklustre. No character this season could even compare to a rememberable Tate langdon, Lana winters, Fiona Goode, Twisty the clown efc 😢
It is becoming harder tto just8fy my freer time spent on AHS.

This whole season is just badly made. I was so stoked after watching NYC because it touched themes that are dear to me, and also it was written by Our Lady J, and then delicate just seems to fail to deliver. The whole storyline is awfully predictable and we can all see where this is going. Unless, of course, the writers just shove in a new character like they did on this episode. I wonder if this show has given all it had to offer or if they just need a better team of producers and writers.

That was so anticlimatic. Cora being the other woman and the stalker should have come sooner in the season, I was expecting Cora to be more than "just" that. And 30 minutes for the last two episodes is pure robbery... My favorite part of the episode was actually the beginning with this Rosemary's Baby meta thing. Also, the serie should have been around Adeline trying to escape her dark Coven instead of Anna. Tho I was happy to see Anna kicked off Dex. He probably gonna come back next week to say sorry and get saceificed
