denali is in alaska, i spent 2 summers there as a kid. one of the reasons i like this deck is i have been to most of these parks & it brings back so many memories.
@@innerhealtarot your right on there are many cards that seem out of place but i have been seeing more & more of that in tarot lately in the newer decks. i wondered if the translation from chinese to english & visa versa is what messes things up or if the printing factories just don't care. i have never bought a majors only deck & not sure i want to, a 22 card deck seems rather skimpy to do a reading with. i've ordered the deck but not sure i will be able to use it for anything other than memories & inspiration for art.
@@innerhealtarot lol if i am gonna dream i will stick to the whole deck to being perfect rather than only a small part of it. those indoor climbing cards just don't belong in the deck, nor do i feel that the gardening cards nor the nyc park. all that is like making an animal deck with cars, trains & planes in it. it just doesn't work for me, i even questioned the the hammock book reading, we used to spend weeks out camping & never did i bring a book or even wish i had. i guess "the great outdoors" means wilderness to me not what's outside our front door, unless of course your home is in the wilderness. i think they just needed to spend a little bit more time thinking of the right images for the deck, in the proper places, then we'd all be thrilled with the whole deck & we would have had a super perfect deck that everyone would have had to get. think maybe we could talk them into editing it? lol
@@crystalinedreams6039 yes the indoor climbing part is total oddness 😂 maybe should be changed with the climbing mountain goat instead or forage some outdoor flower that connected with the archetype energy would be nice.
I bought this deck because it was pretty! I love the art. But i don’t resonate with it at all either. Not sure what to do with it now- it is kind of useless like that
I am so sorry it happened like this…. Maybe go through the minor arcana and change the name actually would help? It’s a pity cause the major were perfectly named and linked with the national park isn’t it

Why not return it if your not happy with it… or sell it to someone who would like it! You don’t need to buy and moan about it if you are not happy DO something about it!
talking about china printed decks. i just got a deck from us games, which i figured was made in usa but no, it was made in china. no complaints about the deck, it was made very well. what upsets me is that you cannot trust that anything by anyone is made anywhere but china & i would rather support my native land than china's for the majority of my purchases. thank you for sharing!
Yes. I feel the same I used to live in China in factories hence I saw the other side of beautiful but poor quality ( in most cases) products that get made. Living and working conditions of the people working and producing these products are horrible hence they can sell and produce so cheaply. Hence also I always encouraged ppl not buying from there. @@innerhealtarot so sorry that you were in the darker side of this bad for everyone but the top few business. hope you are doing much better today. i guess these "not few enough" power hungry / money hungry people are the future till we the people have been pushed too far to take it anymore. i've been here for 70 yrs & it's always been ridiculous but it's gotten 50 times worse in the last 10-20 years that i am amazed there isn't riots taking down these governments & businesses all around the world. at least in the usa we still have our guns. i am sorry this is so dark but it is what it is.
Couldn’t agreee more! Feels like someone swap around the cards and the graphic designer who doesn’t understand tarot just put the minor arcana label on whatever card. It’s a pity as the images are actually nice!

I love the major arcana in this deck but the minor arcana miss the mark from traditional readings. It’s a pass for me. Thanks for your review.
