During the Goomba Village minigame I thought it was pretty funny that the editor put all of the Party Crasher's community names on the houses but just left Sophist as "sophist" in all lower case instead of the Sophisticated Society.
The society told me to put more green screen car crashes in the last video I edited. So that was my petty revenge.

As someone who was introduced to the series with 8, I can only wait until that awaited video finally arrives (also they should do 8 player mode if they play 7).

In the games defense, the lack of minigames is only an issue on the first map because it has so many green spaces, all the other maps have alot more versus spaces and you have a 50% chance to get a minigame every time you land on a blue space. With all of that the game usually has minigames just as frequently as other mario party games and the game not forcing you into minigames really helps the pacing cause they can control the appearance of minigames in parts where the map itself is supposed to be the obstacle.
I haven't play the game in years, but i don't the amount of minigames in boards improving THAT much, maybe the bowser Board because of the gimmick, but this seems like a stretch.

Honestly Brent's mic was weird like the gain on it was too high sometimes because he would cut out saying stuff normally throughout some of the video.
Well, they are always communicating through Discord, so when they edit the videos it relies on how good their Discord call was.
@@SaulMendozaMkt Not really. They all record their audio separately and then send it to the editor. It's why they have to sync audio at the beginning of every recording with a clap.

I swear, Smash Compactor was one of the funniest minigames to me because of the way the characters just float off after they get crushed. It's the perfect goofiness Mario is known for! It made me laugh my ass off when I first played it!

The edit of Brent on Jay Jay the Jet Plane caught me so off guard! Man, it must be an honor for Eevee to hear "You pick...WAAAARIOOOO" in person. I'm honestly proud of how confident Brent has become being on camera IRL. Looking back at how far he came, he has come a long way as a content creator on his channel and now he has been comfortable since then. I love the confidence and it is something a lot of people can relate to. I love Mario Party 9. Sure it's very different and having purple stars to make you lose stars is an absolute troll move, but that is what makes it great and stand out. Fantastic minigames, the music is top-tier, and the car mechanic is really unique.
Plus, this game gives each character their own unique animation for everything, like how Mario swings his arms while slightly bouncing his knees for his idle animation, or how Toad punches the ground for when he's running. It gives the characters so much more personality. Something else I like is that vehicles you unlock with Party Points can be used in Solo Mode. I unlocked the Float Mattress and sure enough, when I entered the level, we were driving it instead of the default vehicle!
Mario party 9. The one I grew up with.
imo 9 is better than 10 because there was a story mode in 9, the 10 menu was too simplistic, and 10 jailed bowser for some reason.
10 feels like Absolutely nothing compared to the already Undertuned 9, which if F**king impressive
I swear seeing Brent and Sophist irl is the most cursed thing of the group, all because Nick and Vern have constantly shown their faces in videos or pictures 😂
Actually, I rarely see how Sophist looks but KingOfSkill showed his face a few times in his own videos (For example: Getting every K. Rool move where he goes against the Mr. Game & Watch player)
When you tell your parents what you want from the concession stand at a movie theater be like, 0:42. Seeing them in the Sidequest set reminds me of like Lego Batman 1 where you play from the villains' point of view but on the same levels, such a weird thought. It's surreal to see Brent doing his iconic monkey noises in person. And I love how Nick mocks Vernias for being fourth place in a minigame...only for Nick to proceed to be in fourth place and finish in fourth 😂. It's actually really deep with how you have to manipulate the rolls and make sure you're the driver when it's convenient and run away when it isn't. And this game keeps Brent in check!
As someone who played Mario Party 9 as their first Mario party game, I have a personal attachment to this game. I love the boss rush mode. I understand that it is a different experience where it isn’t a board where you can go anywhere. I understand how not everyone likes the idea of a linear board. However, i must say that I do enjoy the story mode, where instead of playing all mini games, you get to play the board against bowser minions and you get to fight a boss at the end of each board. I really want the boss rush and the story mode to come back in a new Mario party game.
Idea for a gimmick:
Everyone swaps bodies. Brent now goes by the name Nick for the entire game, he has to act like the real TCNick and he plays as Daisy and he loves Daisy and is toxic as hell. Nick becomes Vernias, Vernias becomes Sophist, and Sophist becomes Brent, all with their respective personality traits and characters. If someone acts out of their character, they can't grab the next star.
(You can change who acts like who if you want, that was just used as an example)

Mario Party 9 is overheated. It was a nice spin on the original way, but 10 didn’t need to do it again, but it didn’t do it bad. The mini games in 9 have so many of my favourites of all time.

Mario Party 9 has the best Minigame mode out of all the game and I will die on this hill. Garden Battle and Choice Challenge are staples of every gathering of the boys and Time Attack is the most underrated speedrun.
