Did you get eliminated for people shouting the fence number to you? Here, rules state no help when on course, but of course someone has to enforce it. I know a friend of mine did something similar and people did the same.
Why are people in the show ring? I understand runners to pick up jumps, both it looked like a coach and other riders were in there. That’s crazy!

Hm? The only people in the actual show ring were photographers and the jump crew. You will usually have another rider in the show ring as well (usually towards the end of a round, but it depends on how each show handles it) for a seamless switch between riders as well to keep class duration down. The only coaches I spotted were in the warm up ring - it's normal for there to be multiple horses and coaches in the warm up :)

exactly, I was also confused about that! in The Netherlands you also get disqualified for that, the sounds + instructions of the girl filming are not permitted on most European Showgrounds. In The Netherlands, the rider isn't even allowed to talk to their horse in dressage tests, since then the horse might be voice activated instead of the rider aids. But your right, if no one like says that or acts upon those rules, then people will not know. Some organisations are just too lenient in my opinion. 🙃
