Am I hearing a nod to Mr Brecker’s ‘Creature Of Many Faces’ at 5:16 (between the tenor and trumpet solos)? Along with the national anthems, that makes for yet another clever twist from the arranger. Kudos to Kyle Athayde!

Sounds amazing! It's cool to see this tune done with so many musicians. Chad is a true "chad" on tenor (was that solo one take? )
One thing that stood out to me: The A# right at 2:37 is stacatto in this arrangement, but is full length in all of Chick's versions (the three I checked at least). It really changes the feel of the line imo.
