Ordered this kit last week. Been waiting patiently as it was shipped today. Will be using video to help get installed. Great vid...
how was the installation? what cords did you have to buy yourself? Or was all cords provided in the kit
Just got this bundle kit. It's a little pricey and took a bit of patience to install (because I'm kind of picky and like things done correctly and neatly...so I even took the opportunity to properly clean the inner screen while I had the chance when modifying everything else), but so damn worth it in my opinion! I love it! My kids love it! It will most definitely provide us with long term entertainment!
did it come with the games
@@adambouches7396 Yep!
Just finished getting my kit setup, it is awesome defiantly worth the buy! Great job arcademodup
How did you get the games loaded on there. Any video link?
Wow well done coming from a guy who knew nothing about modding last year spent lots of time and did all the mods which was cool but what a little pain in the ass, here everything is done yea you have to pay but time is money especially the whole image on sd card thing what a pain so I thank you guys and will be placing an order real soon
Just ordered my kit with monitor upgrade. Had a few questions before ordering and customer service promptly responded. Cant wait to set it up!
How it go? thinking about ordering the same order u got
Much needed upgrade for me. Just bought a kit from you guys!
Is it good man? ..does it have street fighter x tekken?
Just bought a whole kit, super excited and can't wait to mod my arcade one up
How long did it take to get to you. Ordered mine last week still nothing
@@zuluunion1121 once they figure out exactly how you want it... It took about 4 days to get to me and took me about a hr to put together
How has your mod worked out for you?
I bought their 4 player upgrade kit. Awesome kit! Simple plug and play. NO ISSUES at all.
Are all the games already on the system, or did you have to download them to your Raspberry Pi SD card?
@@tonyl6203 it is plug and play. No hassle to download or program controllers as long as you buy theirs.
I want one of these. Definitely saving this video!
Nice. I’ll probably be buying one of these off your site soon. I’m going to need the MK one.
Nice. Will be ordering the whole drop in kit soon. Thanks for the install vid!
Did you order yours yet?
I order mines on dec 1st and its taking forever to ship ...smh...
choppa gunna not yet. Had some financial things come up. I will eventually though.
I did hear they were really busy trying to fill all the orders. I figured that these would be popular.
@@michael3308 got mine in less than a week during dec
Those that got their kit. How was the install? Do the games actually play?
Just ordered a kit. Excited to get it installed!
How does the game run???
@@newjackgaming88 runs great. It’s pre-configured
I wasn't down with this at first but man it looks awesome!! Kinda want to do my street fighter cabinet
did you do it? I was gong to yesterday but 369 from 399 but waited till today after getting a question or two answered....and now today it's 389 down from 429? So I'm hesitating Again wondering if I jsut want to buy another one or two of the 1up arcades
@@miragexl007 wow it's gone way up since my purchase at $319 ....I'm guessing because its selling pretty good now.
Super cool. I definitely need to get this
Man great video I’ll be hitting you up really soon .
I WILL DEFINITELY HAVE TO ORDER A KIT FROM YOU GUYS !! LOVE IT !!
Incredible deal! I have already modded 2 units. Wish this was available 2 months ago.
Awesome job guys. Just ordered one. Will update after arrival
Eddie A any up date?
Yea. Just got the order in and put it together yesterday. Everything works like it should. Just disappointed in the customer service. I understand they were probably busy because of Christmas. But I have to say, the customer service was pretty bad. They ran out of parts and sent me a link to amazon items to order, and refunded the exact amount that amazon charged, instead of the amount they charge on their website, and there was a different in prices. Also sent me link to the wrong part, luckily I know just enough to know the right part to order.
And most emails I sent were either rudely answered or not at all. I managed to get everything working. Just really disappointed in the customer service. I would not order from them again.
Eddie A! I gotcha. Seems expensive through this site? It says like 400 dollars
wow...great job guys...will contact you tomorrow about purchasing
Just ordered this kit like 3min ago, can't wait!!!
Is there a game list???? I’m on verge of ordering too
@@italiad1013Good question, I think they send the list to your email or with the bundle mod kit.
I just got mine says there's a little over 4000 games
That’s Badass I like doing stuff like this myself but I think this time I’ll just spend the money to have it done.... Great video you got my vote👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼🤘🏼🤘🏼🤘🏼
This is very cool! Thanks for sharing this. :)
Pretty freakin awesome! I would LOVE to see you guys come out with a DRIVING mod up for the Outrun cab! That would be killer!
DON'T BUY FROM THESE PEOPLE! THEY OFFER NO SUPPORT & MOST OF THEIR GAMES DON'T WORK!
Good stuff! I need a SF marquee!
damn you do the work i just install? im sold.
Awesome video!
I am so buying this kit when i get my next paycheck, thank u for sharing this video and the installation is not as complicated as other CZcams vídeos and its a piece of cake, and btw how did u wire up the speakers tho?
I order a full kit, I love how it came out everything works great and very ez to install. only problem is the led stirp is not brite it dose not light the marquee
Very cool I'm going to mod up with you guys
YOU GUYS ROCK !!
This is what 1UP shouldve been! Ill definitely grab one sometime this year
I wanted this so I could have a machine that saved high scores without having to save state. This mod gave me the machine I have always wanted. For any game that didn’t save it’s high score, I just changed the emulator in the options from Final Burn to Mame2010. After testing hundreds of classics only Spiderman(Sega) did not work. Even the Daphne games worked!
I have the NBA Jam 4-player Arcade1Up cabinet with the WiFi multiplayer (which is really fun). The concept of this mod is great, but I'd like to figure out a way to switch between the Arcade1Up board and the Raspberry Pi.
already a happy customer from you guys
great work
little question how can i add more games there are some old arcede that i want please help thank you
best explained video i have ever seen strait to the point and 100 percent explain should be no questions well done
This is amazing
just picked one up!! stoked to pop this baby in my street fighter 1up
Are the games already installed? Also, do you have to install the hdmi adapter?
@@digsmcfury9697 all of that is in the video. yes, games installed. i dont have it yet, but watch the video.
Rahul Puar Thanks! I just don’t see why they had to include a hdmi adapter to install.
I think to play ps4 or Xbox?
Oh no he said in the vid you need hdmi for the pie
We got our kit earlier in the week. Instructions could be better with bigger pictures to see, this video was very helpful but skips a bit of other stuff that needs to be connected in the box. So between both, watching this and reading instructions over and over during the install, it took 4 hours to get it all done. I wanted to make sure I did it right, especially my first go at it. If I had to do it again it should only take an hour. One of the wires on the light strip needed to be reconnected. When you install the light strip, get some double sided mounting tape like 3M or Alien tape, and help secure it on the ends and the middle. The light strips started falling shortly after, but this is my experience with all light strips. Our speaker box panel was 1/4 of an inch too long, as it was longer than the existing panel, so it would bend inward exposing other parts of the inside cabinet, looked bad, so we put original panel back in for now. We placed the speakers on the bottom of the inside of the cabinet for now. The speaker wires could have been pre stripped, and connected/crimped to the connectors. One of the three predrilled holes on the lower part of the marquee were off, so we could not screw that one in to the lower part, but is still held in place by the other two. We are going to buy a longer connector to put the marquee light switch on top of cabinet so we can turn it off when not in use. We may purchase different speaker, or a line in speaker, or use my old Bose speaker that has plug in audio wire All and all still a great purchase and are happy with it so far.
Did it come with the games pre-installed?
Hello: This is such a great video, however I have some questions. Don’t know if you will answer them but I figured I would try.
1. Does this save scores for all games?
2. I have read online some people complain about the games being “boggy” or not playing correctly is that to be expected on some games?
3. Is it upgradeable if you all release additional pies or make it so more games can be added?
4. How many gaming systems does it have?
5. Can you buy through your website without PayPal?
Thank you.
Hi. Loving the image you have on that card, do you sell these cards separately and ship to the UK?
We have Galaga with the vertical screen. Will it still work?
Do you have a list of the fighting games that are included ?
Great video! It's very helpful.
Question regarding the HDMI/VGA board mounting, is there any reason to be concerned with having it on the metal as opposed to farther down on the wood? Grounding issue or otherwise?
I've just seen it recommended in other videos of installing the same part to get it down on the wood, but the cables don't look like they are long enough anyway.
DON'T BUY FROM THESE PEOPLE. TINA THE CO-OWNER IS A CRAZY, BACK-STABBING BITCH! THEIR "SO-CALLED" TECH SUPPORT IS AWEFUL!!! THEY WILL TAKE YOUR MONEY & LAUGH ALL THE WAY TO THE BANK!
What a great video thank you for sharing would I be able to purchase the image you used on this build ?
Are you doing anything with the mvsx? Would love to buy some enlarged arcade stick kits and was hoping you’d be working on an speaker mod to move them under the marquee.
Do need the Speakers and amp for Audio? Or can you just use the HDMI
Super cool is there a save feature at all so I can pick up games where I left off?
Nice 👍🏾 I’m going on the website and order a Mortal Kombat one
Got it and it works great, but there are a few games that I'd like to add that aren't included, such as Rockin’ Bowl O’ Rama, Kickman and Super ABC (PacMan multi game title). Any ideas on how to do this? Thanks in advance!
Having trouble connecting the HDMI micro HDMI cord
This looks like the easiest way to get things done, will you be looking into modding the new X-men vs streetfighter Arcade1Up machines coming out? I’m planning on modding my preordered one with your help. Specifically for the control panel, I’m not interested in drilling holes into the cabinet
I'm doing this myself this weekend with a Pi4. The only trouble I think I might run into is wiring the buttons. How do you know which button to map in Config? Trial and error?
I just got my kit today. I bought my Arcadeup1 off amazon like a week or two ago, but I didn't build it since I was waiting for the mods to show up. I figure why put it together twice. I will probably do everything tommorow or over the weekend when I got time do it right, but I'm working all the steps to prep myself for the moment before I call it a day.
@arcademodup will this also work on the NBA jams cabinet? Meaning would i have to change that control panel since its already for 4 people?
I am assuming since this connects to a pi you can simply connect the HDMI to a PC instead once you use your kit? Thinking of investing as a PC would be a better option for me for more powerful games like dreamcast and ps2.
Nice
Damn. Great job. I have been holding off on getting an arcade 1up but i may have to get one now and one of these kits. Do you have the retropie image available for download from your site? I love how you have it configured.
no they customized it. they would not give that away for free
Question for you guys- the screen is bigger, but is it better than my gen 1 monitor? I have a vertical screen and you can only see properly on one side.
thought about doing this. So your kit is ready to go....all the games pre-loaded in already? and if so, you have a list of the games fully?
Thanks a lot.
my hdmi output just stopped working after i ran an audio fix that came pre installed on retropie. Did it brick my pi?
I somehow got the screen oriented Horizontal versus vertical for my Galaga one up. How do you switch the orientation back to vertical??
Can I order just the SD card? Love how you have everything is order! The wrestling section sold me lol. I need. Please lmk
When you buy the mod kit bundle, dows it include all the games? And does it matter which 1up arcade you buy to begin with? Like should i buy streetfighther 2 or mortal combat, or nba jam? Or does it not matter? Thanks!
I got a question so I've been having my arcade mod up for about 5 months and today the screen started flashing I noticed the hdmi monitor board was flashing red then green what can I do to fix this issue
If I'm still using the stock speakers that came with the cabinet, where do I plug my aux into? The Android box? Monitor converter ?
Welp, looks like I'm getting into the mod game!!
Is it fairly easy to change the menu music? Like a personal playlist for instance?
This is great. I picked up the mortal Kombat cabinet last night and returned it this morning because the old lady said 'F-no". But I'm glad I did because the SF cabinet button layout is better. Near future will be getting one. I kind of want to just get all of the the dimensions of the cabinet and have the pieces cut and drilled to make a larger one. It all depends on the cost. It may be cheaper to just modify the Arcade 1up though. Im a tall dude and definitely would prefer a taller cabinet. I know it is simple to add a riser on the base of one of these. So many options/possibilities.
i have 2 issues if i get this. 1st is i have a mk gen 1 and still want to use it for just the mk games so is it possible to have you guys not attach the retro to the arcade stick if i order the full kit ?
2nd is the 6 button layout on your stick its not straight across. can i have them perfectly straight like the street fighter and marvel fight stick with mk 2 art work ?
what kind of amp did you use? does that come with the kit as well?
How Many Games It Comes With ? Ready To Buy ASAP !
Awesome Setup Video👍... A quick question, Do you have a Mod for a Rampage Cabinet setup?
Yes, we have for every cab. Will be the sf layout, but artwork will match your cabinet.
Any possibility of lining up the 6 button panel to American Style? I noticed that it is arched to Japanese style? Otherwise it looks really good.
Anyway we could just the raspberry pi and LCD board by itself?
Silly question, but how do you turn it back on? Will any button boot up the pi or do you need to unplug it and plug it back in?
I’m in Australia and have the exact machine. Will this work for my machine or not as the power rating here is different?
Will the sound mod allow me to connect a sub-woofer? The original games had a good bass sound to them. This speaker kit doesn't look like it has any bass built in.
This is actually making me wanna buy an arcade 1up now.
I think they're well worth it if you can find them on clearance. I got final fight and space invaders for 75 dollars. Couldn't pass that up
jaxfan damn where u get it that cheap?
@@JuanSalas-se7sl Walmart. I check brickseek to see what Walmart has them on clearance. I had to drive 45 minutes to get those. Worth the drive to me
Just found a space invaders locally clearenced for $75. Walmart find aswell. It's possible to find them. Happy hunting
@@AaronRoney deals.consolekits.com
Check this website out. Console kits made it. It's better than brickseek.
I purchased the marvel arcade1up, can I add the raspberry Pi and keep the same controls ?and do you sell the raberry pi with all 1000 games ?
Do you have any of the hyperspin builds?
Can you guys do a video on how to remove the black bars on the screens it comes with please?
Is there a way to add more music to the menu?
Hi, this is what I am looking for! do you ship to the UK or have a UK distributor?
does it have golden tee for if you add a track ball? alos if you do the 2 player xl does it come wit the standard white 3" ball or do you have to add the 3" light up ball? i dont see an option to add a regular 3" ball like there is for a 2" ball with the standard 2 player deck.
Looks like I might need to buy a 1 up cabinet. Great job. Any particular 1 up game cabinet for your kit?
I would get the cheapest with horizontal screen like asteroids unless you like artwork on something like street fighter or MK.
Any idea what screen upgrade options there are for the Atgames Legends Ultimate? Lots of people doing the arcade 1up but not one video on the ALU.
Are you going to do a kit for the 12:1 Arcade1UP cabinet? How about the new AtGames Arcade legends cabinets any mods coming for it? is it possible to get the mod kit shown but for a Odroid XU4
Is possible to have a switch to flip between the Raspberry and the Arcade1up board?
What's the list of games does the kit already have installed?
Hey were you guys going to do the mod video for the street fighter cocktail cabinet
Awesome video ! Is it possible to use a pandora box for this wiring configuration? By connecting the usb cables from the encoder directly to the pandora box
Pandora typically needs jamma harnessing which is different.
Can you get the complete kit with non-led buttons?
Does your image have attract mode?
How do you turn the cabinet on and off? I don't see a power button on that controller
Just wondering. Any updates of having RetroPie into raspberry pi 4? I'm trying to mod my mortal kombat arcade1up by playing just 90s arcade games (not console games or high graphics games like n64 or ps). Cant decide which raspberry pi i need....
any video of you hooking up the back
Do you guys have a control panel for the galaga machines? I was thinking about buying one off of fb but I only want it it I can mod it.
Would love to see all this in a 4 player kit with trackball for games like goldentee
Be careful of them
Thanks
Any chance this has the old Star Wars Trilogy arcade game? Thanks
