#pepguardiola #mancity #guardiola | Pep Guardiola and Mikel Arteta Manchester City and Arsenal press conference today - Sport
Even though Arsenal has just lost their 1st position to Liverpool, a point away to Man City is still a very good one for them, as the onus to win was on Man City who were playing at home & chasing the top 2!
Arsenal's defensive performance at the Etihad was outstanding! Arteta's tactics conceded possession to Man City, but nullified their threat by limiting the impact of De Bruyne, Foden & Haaland in particular! It wasn't as if Man City performed badly, but it's that Arsenal didn't allow them to be effective in the final third!
The only manager who knows Pep and City is Arteta. Go toe to toe with them especially playing the same style of football they will smash you. We place free flowing football but if we have to be pragmatic (park the bus) we would. It’s called plan B.
Give us some credit, if you can’t then complain about City not scoring at least they are the best in the world with the best manager. I have never seen City this scared of losing a game.
Also Inzaghi at Inter Milan as seen in Champions final. Inter should have won as Inzaghi out played City. Although lost game
I respect this man so much
Don't think the City players were as accepting of Referee Anthony Taylor's performance as Pep is! Thought the ref's reluctance to book Arsenal players early on in the game encouraged 'em to continue to intentionally commit fouls, with the likes of De Bruyne, Haaland, Foden, Dias, Akanji, Bernard, etc all noticeably in Anthony Taylor's ear seemingly frustrated throughout the game!
Arsenal today was exceptional against the best team city defend well
29% possession & the players looked gutted in their interviews. For me Arsenal disappointed.
@@johnmichaelson9173 on the contrary City are the disappointment. Going by their status they should be breaking down any defence. Arsenal are upcoming and very much on the rise. In a few years we can go toe to toe with them. You don’t suddenly go from being smashed at the Etihad for 5yrs to winning. Psychological it’s hard. Today it’s a draw next time it could be better. And just a reminder we took 4 points of City and Liverpool this season. That’s not bad considering our record against top teams.
@@johnmichaelson9173 arsenal got the draw point still one point ahead city and still above city and arsenal can still improve title race still on for sure
@@addeyaddey5608 You're just emotional, arsenal drew against both teams but are still two points behind Liverpool. Arsenal needed to beat City.
@@johnmichaelson9173 no you don’t get it. May be we should have beaten City. It wouldn’t still stop people like you from discrediting our effort. My focus is on the progress this team is making under Arteta and his coaching staff. We have beaten City twice this season. The day we beat them at the Etihad is closer. May be we are not at that level yet but it’s closer.
I love Pep as a manager, he is honest always
Man City are at home and have advantage. Arteta is not silly
Nice one for the gunners
Haaland is the weakness in lowblock teams or setup , Madrid should just come for him ,he is destroying the team
Agree roy Keane has said haaland front of goal his good but plays like league 2 player
Mbappe will make a team better more than haaland
Well that will be interesting to watch I don't remember ever seeing Madrid playing lowblock before
City are the best team ive ever seen and im 38,ge deserves massive respect
Credit to our defense+rice. Our front only odegaard deserve credit and maybe trossard. Others just shambolic. But we move on.
Arse go 'we go for no defeat then we go for the kill' oh Arterta
As a Liverpool supporter i see this as an absolute win 😮💨🤝
As Arsenal supporter, I want liverpool to win. You should have 3 league wins, but 155 fc done you by a point twice.
After klopp goes next year, you will drop off massively, probably for years. happens to everyone. But we will win next year.
@@dalegrant9282 We dont claim you as an arsenal fan
@@prabjotmatta We don't accept you
@@dalegrant9282you are not an Arsenal fan. No need to patronise us. We know ourselves. No Arsenal fan thinks like a loser.
@@prabjotmatta😂
The question should be: Did you really miss Walker in RB? And how impactful was that for that game?
Respect to Pep👏 they played very well, when I saw their defence, I thought Arsenal was going to murder them, to my surprise they faced an Arsenal team with no pace. City is good 🤦🏾♂️ HalaMadrid
This year this three team will decide at the last game who will win ❓❓❓❓❓
Just called it a lost for both sides give the PL to liverpool pep u can try again next year and Areta
9 matches to go. Last week Arsenal were top lol
Why is there a prime on the thumbnail
This was live, so before the press conference takes place I have to use old thumbnails. It's quickly changed over when the press conference finishes.
Arsenal packed the bus today,no sugarcoating....its not a crime but that's what they did.
City did the same against us at andield second half
@@danielmeb84 maybe we watched a different game then coz atleast on that one they had a good period in first 20minutes of first half and looked dangerous on the break.... arsenal today simply decided to pack the bus Mourinho style.
The games the game bro😂
@@georgesalano5771 can you not read??? i said SECOND HALF plus you just admitted they played on the break at anfield
@@georgesalano5771 what team do you suppose btw
Who was the master today ?
Klopp
Let's c how long
@@mircokuhne9144Liverpool defence not good enough to win league. Brighton should have scored a few
Sheikh speaks Money Language! I hope ManC will be charged by big big problem‘s
So what did Arteta say about Oporto? Sometimes it's better to keep your mouth shut
Pep is the best manager "by far", City best team in the world "by far".. Arteta talks most shite "by far" 😂
Man City just won treble. Not sure what planet you are on
US MADRID FANS, we don’t see or care about the CLASSICO with Spotify Barca 🔴🟣.
