Lovely fish, am I the only person that finds it strange that a pike can be 3 times the size of a trout and weigh half? Its broad from its belly to its back, 3 spines and its heads massive. Surely there's a reason for this?
I’m sure there is as I’ve thought the same. Started of fishing for trout and when I started pike fishing and caught my first decent fish I thought they were absolutely massive but were only a few pounds.
@@thescottishpiker2010 It's strange. I used to pike fish but I got fedup carrying 3 rods, alarms, all the stuff around especially having to walk far with it. I've went the other way and now fly fish.
Nice pike!! Looked incredibly strong, I love fighting them.
Nice fishing, you took really care of the fish..nice to watch! Well done.
