I get so annoyed when the audience and judges are waiting for the big notes with all the singers. Listen to the whole song and the voice whether soft, low, high or in between, this man is an amazing vocalist.
There's much to be said for control and nuance. I also get annoyed when the best parts of the vocals are drowned out by screams and claps from the audience.
A truly amazing vocalist. Seems we don't get really good singers outside of these competitions anymore.

First- he has a voice I would right home about. Second- he’s a story teller. He knows how to tell a story with his voice and THAT is a rare talent to come by. He could easily be a recording artist. And if he toured, people would pay BIG bucks to see him as a performer b/c he can tell a story.
Also- what kind of unrealistic voice are they looking for? I think about “The Top 40” billboard artists and none of them have knock out voices……

I truly believe if Jimmy were on a show like The Voice stage, Jimmy would not only win he would become one of the most famous of all the male vocalists. He is purely talented. When a dancing dog can win over a beautiful talent, and they have, you know you need to be comparing voices, and not gimmicks. I'm so sorry he chose the show he did. He never reached his potential, and we lost.

Right! What kind of talent is he *actually* looking for? Because as a producer I don’t think any of his of his folks had truly standout voices. And several times Simon has gone Gaga about a new artist whooooooo never succeeds. Like that girl who sings the song, “I keep bleeding, I keep keep bleeding for you.” It was a bop for 15 minutes and that was it for her
