      That's naive. Taxes don't matter. Government spending is based on debt. The push for women to have income is a way to drive down wages by flooding the market with workers which benefits corporations. It also drives up more debt taking by increasing student loans and rent which benefits the banks. Everything pushed benefits the parasitic elites.

    Speaking as a fairly conservative man, while I do believe education + career and motherhood are often falsely dichotomized by the left, I think his argument suffers from the same fallacy and misses an important point: the children of well-educated mothers will in turn (likely) be better educated.
    My wife is a professor at a conservative Christian college. She earned her first doctorate before we started dating and her second shortly after our first child was born. We have no student loan debt-we paid off the remainder of our student loans in our first year of marriage around the time we bought our house. She does ultimately desire to scale back her workload in a couple years to homeschool our children when our oldest reaches preschool age as 1) she wants to homeschool our children and 2) my salary is sufficient to pay our bills.
    Our marriage greatly benefits from the educations we _both_ received. Frankly speaking, her intellect and thirst for knowledge are among the traits I find most attractive in her. Had she not gone to college, we never would have met in the first place (we met at the conservative Christian college we both attended as undergraduates).
    Not all colleges and universities are fundamentally liberal. The life of the mind ought to be cultivated in both men and women where it can-I honestly find unintelligent women unattractive-certainly not marriage material. An intelligent person without a well-rounded education is an uncut gem. Is the devaluing of child-bearing by the left deeply problematic and short-sighted? Yes. Will all people benefit from a college education? No. But many will and their children will be better for it. Care must simply be taken in selecting the institution.

    I had a girlfriend who passed me up for a PhD. We were so suited and had plans this year to do all these things together. She even sent me a Christmas gift with amazing chocolates and a bucket list.
    And then sometime later broke up with me, because she wanted to do her PhD. I told her, i habe several femape friends who while married were still doing their PhDs. If we fogured it out, we can make it work.
    Sad part was, we had genuinely fallen in love to the point where i was figuring out our future ppans together. But maybe that was my problem.
    I will be honest, her breaking up with me came as a complete shock and surprise. I cant say, i saw it coming.
    Anyways, i dont hate her for it. How can i? I loved her so much. How can i suddenly hate her. It is her life and her decision. It just broke my heart so much. We had so much going for us. I am 33, she is 23. And it didnt matter in the slightest. When we were together nothi g else mattered. And i know she felt the same because scarely would an hour go by where she wasnt contacting me, telling me how much she loved what i had told her, how it had been amazing just chatting and when we could nexg meet up in person. I still miss her. Anyways, i believe families are less desirable realities for people because work careers are becoming too easy options.

      Perhaps it's the age difference. Or she just doesn't want to be weighted down by marital responsibility and expectations. As they say "if you love someone you should let them go and if it was meant to be they will come back".

However, having babies older is not good. I am 48, I cannot imagine raising a baby now, I'm too old for that sh!t.... We ARE meant to have babies young. So, do we as men want to disincentivize our partners from higher education or are we capable of equitably sharing our responsibilities in the workplace and at home? Because the single, sole-provider family isn't coming back...the market and autonomy of women will not allow it. It forces women to change as well in their evaluation of partners...what does this man bring to the table that isn't solely financial security? Regardless, I want my daughter to exceed in this regard...to go through higher education and use her reasoning to discern who may be a healthy, reliable partner.

      How did "gaining experience" turn into promiscuity and growing up turn into going into massive debt? You can have a family, have a life, and grow together with your husband. Taking on responsibility is the epitome of growing up. Being a degenerate is just extending your teenage to late adulthood.

    • @standinstann
      @standinstann Pƙed 14 dny +1

      @edheldude Well because when you're young you tend to date around as a means of figuring out what you want in a partner and that often means having sex with multiple partners. I don't think it "turned into" that, thats how young people have been since forever. As for the debt, if that's in the form of student loans, then that's just an unfortunate reality. It would be good to have free education but that's just not the way things are right now.
      I agreez you could get married when you're in you're early 20s and some people do and that's fine, but by and large, young people tend to explore the world and them selves before settling down, it just happens to be that they're settling down later than they used to.

Ive seen women in their early 20s having a hard time getting pregnant while the ladies in their late 30s conceive so easily. Women back in the day had alot of kids and would still conceive in their 40s. And yes education for women is important. Having a good job so they can have retire and receive money is important. Ive seen elderly ladies who only receive a small amount retirement money from what their husbands worked. Which is like 500 monthly. It sucks.

The older you get the lower the eggs are and the higher chances of making a sick baby(for example Down Syndrome). Not to mention you will be "uglier". Brainwashing women that a career is more important than a family is criminal. Sure some women cant have children or don't want any but those that want a baby are brainwashed to do it later(when its high risk or too late)
