You could agree with someone who says they are worthless and should end their own life. That isn't nice. Also, on a related note, are you familiar with the concept of malicious compliance? It is when you would agree to do something, even though you have the knowledge beforehand that the desired outcome would not be achieved by following through with said order or request. Not to mention, "willing to agree to something" is not the only definition of agreeable. Considering all of this, it's more likely they were referring to the "enjoyable and pleasurable; pleasant" definition of agreeable.

The problem I have with people like this is that they can't differentiate between being kind or nice like they think.
Most of the time they like it directed at them, the moment kindness is directed at others it is seen as a disrespect or cheating behavior.
I have disqualified so many women the moment they get upset I hold the door open for another person besides her. Some even get upset for holding the door open for elders.

ABSOLUTELY 💯 solid advice. When I first met my husband he was driving for Uber and was a personal trainer. He had extreme discipline and was very frugal/wise with his money. He’s kind at his core. He’s hardworking, always has a positive mindset, and has the most humble ways about him that makes me want to be a better woman. I just knew he had all the deep characteristics of a great husband. 6 years later he has a great career, im a SAHM and life is beautiful. Even if he was making what he was, his character will never change. Ladies- choose based on who he is at his core, not what he can offer you $$ because that can change but his heart and DNA makeup will not

I'm sorry, but no. Values should be taught in the home, parents want to abdicate all of their responsibility to schools.
A school is a place to learn academics, not a place to be taught values.

@@matthewdennis1739The problem is that too many kids come from homes where they'll never get the opportunity to learn these values, so somewhere besides the home has to offer an alternative way of introducing and reinforcing good values.
Equally, there's a whole lot of people in this world who aren't academically inclined, and schools need to be offering them something besides a place for them to constantly fail until they leave as adults with not only sub par academic achievements, but no discernable life skills or useful values.

@@lollylou22 Agreed on offering more trade skill opportunities. Also agreed on a basic level the school needs to provide basic values for those who don't have parents teaching them at home, but that's just a band aid. We need to address the issue at its root.

@@matthewdennis1739There is nothing wrong with both. In fact, even when you’re not actively being taught values, you should be learning them based on the experiences you have with all sorts of different people. My parents are wonderful, but I’ve learned much more about life outside of my parents rearing. It is entirely up to you after a certain point to learn what your values are and every experience plays into that.
