@JuliaJuanaAlvarez valid point. But usually they’ll talk in terms of heterosexual relationships because that’s most relationships and it makes it all that more relatable to most people. Explain the difference.
@@AbdulGiwabeing nice is what women do. It is going along to get along and not making difficult decisions out of fear of offending someone. It is fear masquerading as niceness from a position of cowardice. Someone who is nice, is fake. However, kindness is delivered from a position of strength. Is the ability to stand alone how to make principled stands. The same corollary applies to peaceful men, they are capable of great violence and strength but keep is focused for good, a weak man is not a peaceful man, he is harmless like a rabbit.
@@christopherpakney8542 I believe the question pertains to the distinction between being kind vs nice. Instead of explaining the difference you go on a tangent and enumerate the qualities of one pretending to be nice or even a wussy as opposed to one who is actually nice because that fits your narrative. Being kind and nice are not mutually exclusive. One can’t be nice without being kind and vice versa. In my humble opinion, she was trying to sound sophisticated and impress her audience and apparently she succeeded.
@@samw8045 the other brother asked for an explanation. Being nice is a safety mechanism so you can fit in with the In Crowd and never offend anybody kindness and nice are different. Kindness is actually doing something beneficial for someone else being nice is simply doing everything you can not to offend or ruffle feathers.
@@christopherpakney8542 I think you’re describing someone who happens to be nice albeit with other undesirable traits attached to it. A UFC fighter can actually be nice outside of the ring. Underrated distinction.
Nice: pleasant; agreeable.
Kind: having or showing a friendly, generous, and considerate nature.
These are practically interchangeable. I would be hard pressed to describe a quality found in a kind person that would not also be present in a nice person, and vice-versa.
@@ryanwilhite You said it in your definitions... "Agreeable" which means "yes man" who goes along with your delusions. A Kind person will not, because it is kind to not further your mental illness.
@@ryanwilhite no, the difference is subtle but important. "Nice" involves agreeablity which requires that the person being described is ready to submit to others. Kind just means that you are sympathetic and helpful, but not automatically submitting to the whims of others.
@@MissTaelus There are instances where agreeability wouldn't infer niceness. For instance, letting someone put themselves into a dangerous situation, which you knew was preventable beforehand. You could agree with someone who says they are worthless and should end their own life. That isn't nice. Also, on a related note, are you familiar with the concept of malicious compliance? It is when you would agree to do something, even though you have the knowledge beforehand that the desired outcome would not be achieved by following through with said order or request. Not to mention, "willing to agree to something" is not the only definition of agreeable. Considering all of this, it's more likely they were referring to the "enjoyable and pleasurable; pleasant" definition of agreeable.

This is the sort of thing that should be taught in school.
I'm sorry, but no. Values should be taught in the home, parents want to abdicate all of their responsibility to schools.
A school is a place to learn academics, not a place to be taught values.
@@matthewdennis1739The problem is that too many kids come from homes where they'll never get the opportunity to learn these values, so somewhere besides the home has to offer an alternative way of introducing and reinforcing good values.
Equally, there's a whole lot of people in this world who aren't academically inclined, and schools need to be offering them something besides a place for them to constantly fail until they leave as adults with not only sub par academic achievements, but no discernable life skills or useful values.
