Ingredients:
Flour 250 g
Butter 170 g
Sugar 100 g (50 g for the dough + 50 g for sprinkling) - Jak na to + styl

50g sugar
100g butter salted
150g self raising floor
1 tsp vanilla essence
2tsp milk
Method
Mix butter sugar milk and vanilla essence by hand round and round till you cant feel the sugar grains.
Then sieve the 150g self raising floor and knead till it doesnt stick on you.
Make a sausage roll and cut into 15 pieces. Roll into balls and press with hand to flatten slightly. Then bake in oben at 180 for 15 mins till goldeñj

Why not soften the butter directly in the bowl and save an extra dirty dish? I see so many bakers use too many unnecessary dishes and cleanup would be so much easier!

The perfect cookie and recipe. Good with tea or coffee. It's so simple to change it up by adding either cranberries, pistachios, pecans, walnuts or dip one side in dark chocolate...yummy!!

I use a similar recipe and put nuts in it. Everyone at church lives them! So easy.
There are 4 ingredients, not 3. Butter, salt and sugar equals 3. Flour is 4. After all whenever I see a list of ingredients salt is either in or not, but it is definitely counted if it is there.
And these are close to the 4 ingredient Scotch shortbreads that my mother always made around Christmas time, except it called for brown sugar instead of white granulated sugar. And the proportions look to be different as it makes a stiffer batter.

We call these shortbread biscuits in the UK. A centuries old recipe.which, in my opinion, cannot be bettered.
They are better and healthier if you use 3/4 ground porridge oats with 1/4 flour😋

That's four ingredients, though if you use salted butter you could make them with 3 ingredients: butter, sugar, flour. Classic shortbread.
Salt is considered a seasoning not an ingredient.
