This was really cool. I just recently purchased a vortex marble in a glass shop by the coast. You have given me the closure I needed on how it was made.
Ive been really pushing my glass in the mold, and it never comes out right. thank you so much for the tip/instruction about actually using the mold correctly
I love the technique, I've been shoving the end of my clear rod into a cone shape first and then putting on the color.... but just striping it down the side makes soooo much more sense.
Thank you! Well done. wondering if you can help me. I have been having trouble with my larger marbles cracking in the kiln while they are cooling. andy advice? thank you
Great instructions! Thank you so much 😊
Best video! I’m a beginner to lampworking and you gave really great description of each step in the process. Thanks so much!

How do you set your kiln? What temperature is it at and how long are you anealling?
Krass wie man so was schafen kann..
Is the 13mm clear rod just under the flame when adding the color lines?
So you said the rim of the mold, not pushing the marble into the mold, is that correct?
Please for the love of god get some hardie backer or aluminum bench top material. Plywood benchtop is cringe, otherwise great video man.
