    Thanks so much for the tutorial! It was so helpful! I’m trying to incorporate blown glass, canes, etc into my fused art. Do you know how borosilicate will reacted with 90COE?

    This was really cool. I just recently purchased a vortex marble in a glass shop by the coast. You have given me the closure I needed on how it was made.

  • @SuperSeaguard
    @SuperSeaguard Před rokem

    This technique is also used for pulling cane in borosilicate only. Don’t try this with soft glass. That can be pulled all from one heat 😍 it’s so much nicer to work with. Also, this technique (especially for pulling consistent, even, cane) has a high skill ceiling and requires years of practice to master. Don’t expect to be good after a few tries.

    I like how you tubulate the rod instead of pressing a divot into a puck! Looks like a way more even wall because you start with that small perfect bubble so the rest of the wall falls into evenness. Well done and thanks for the knowledge

    This is great but I can’t find a good video of how to directly attach a joint to a can without the bubble at the bottom. I’m doing 45 degree joints with a removable downstem. Any help would be amazing

    • @MAGATRON-DESTROY
      @MAGATRON-DESTROY Před 2 měsíci

      Do you mean you want to have the lip of the joint flush with your work? If that's the case form the joint and attach it and after you finish the seal go back with the tool you used to make it to make sure it's still correct size. I hope that helps
