Joe you really should do some research on golds properties and its use. Gold has properties that no other metal has.
True, you can buy a lotta properties with Au
Yeah a steel Cuban wouldn’t hit the same
Shhhhh! Leave them be.
fuck the properties, it's still visually unappealing to a lot of people
Joe doesn't do research he gets sent reddit links from his buddies
It’s a great heat conductor. Gold is in every single one of your electronic components, there’s dental usage. In fact back in the day when my grandmother immigrated to America with $0 in her pocket, she sold her gold teeth to buy her kids food.
ya I was going to say gold has a boatload of uses but you covered them all I think, diamonds make no sense to me they are not rare. it kills me that joe knows cobalt is in every cell phone but has no clue gold is in ever electronic device we own.
Joe's not an engineer.... lol😂❤
May God bring her closer to his light and mercy....😢they don't make them like that no more....
Facts.
😂😂😂😂😂😂 Joe you do know Google exists right. Every electrician in the world cringes when you talk about gold.
I had a diamond ring I bought for my ex-girlfriend appraised for $5,000. After we broke up she gave it back to me. I tried to sell it, to a Jewelry Store, and was offered $200 for it, despite providing them with the Appraisal Letter. I ended up selling it for $500 to a store that buys gold. They basically bought it because of the value of the gold, and the diamonds were essentially worthless.
Facts 🎯💯
Diamonds are only worth approximately 10% of what you pay ,
Imagine instant depreciation of 90%
Some of the original things that made gold valuable as currency were that it did not rust, was lightweight and could be melted down easily. Diamonds can be used to cut glass. Perhaps thats where they originally gained value.
gold is heavy my g.
Gold is extremely heavy in terms of metal
their value came because they were rare at one point in time and pretty.
Lightweight 😂😂
Gold is about 20x the density of water, so a 0.5L soda bottle filled up would be ~10kg
Gold is attractive to people because it's shiny, and it does not oxidize, but most importantly, it's a rare element of the Earth.
Aside from jewelry, gold has a multitude of industrial applications. Integrated circuits would not be as small as they are without micron thin gold wires making the connections within the integrated chip. The reason that gold is used to make wire is that it can be drawn incredibly thin to less than 1/3 the diameter of a human hair.
And as far as the electronics recycling industry that is grown out of the massive amounts of electronics that are discarded every year which contains untold amounts of gold use mostly for contact connections where the environment within the electronic device could suffer from oxidation within connections. So again gold is preferred to be used as it is extremely unreactive to oxidation.
It should also be noted that in scientific research with electron scanning microscopes, is that the subject to be magnified is actually gold plated prior to the scanning magnification process. The gold is applied through vapor deposition which deposits a thin film of gold on the subject. The reason gold is used, is that gold will not absorb electrons. If the electrons were absorbed by the subject, the scanning process would produce an incomplete image of the subject as it is rendered on a computer screen.
And as far as Joe Rogan's dislike for gold jewelry, I have to agree with him as I find anybody who wears gold other than a wedding band, uses gold jewelry as a public display of their wealth. Which doesn't annoy me, although I still do believe it's tacky.
Gold and land are the most valuable because they're essential resources, extremely limited and can't be reproduced
There is a little bit of gold inside almost every electronic device
And it is a huge business, scrap electronics and extracting gold from
It
@@dk8797 i wouldnt say huge the margins are actually pretty thin
Joe I used to work next door to your old podcasts at Coastal Media Group in Agoura Hils. The staff would always tell me "be quite Joe is doing a podcast in that room" as I walked past the door. I also heard that they quoted you a "little too high" haha. Good choice to build a studio in your house instead. Little did we know what was soon a birth of something great. 😄
Gold holds the best conduction. Even under the misconception of it being copper. Copper is just cheaper. That's why we use it as opposed to gold.
Gold is in nearly every chip or circuit board on the planet a vital part of electrical components
What's the name of that company again that they have in their thumb nail? I know they mentioned it at least 20 times but somehow I keep forgetting it...
one of the 100 ways to money launder is jewelry and paintings. things where the value can be wildy exagerated. if they own shell companies and cross borders they can launder money with those kinds of businesses. thats the primary reason of gold cost alot, its not because it costs alot.
Hunter does this very thing
@@Frank-mi3sf what aspects
Yeah, that's why when I bought a ring for you know who, I went cheap. Screw that 6 months' salary crap.
A lot more people are going that direction…I respect that. Save for a home
It’s not six months lol what the fuck
Yes sir. 🙏
Diamonds are super hard; they are useful. As for gold, it glitters brightly.
Gold was the global currency standard BECAUSE it's so rare and unique... 💯
As a music lover I must say that gold cable plugs for audio equipment sound much better.
Electronic devices left the chat
Gold has value beyond pretty. Come on joe
Once You buy-Diamonds are “forever” unsalable
I’m in the same boat with Joe. Gold just looks old, Silver just looks better.
Where can i watch full videos
On Spotify
CZcams now
I love silver
I respect Joe....Sometimes he falls back into the abyss of stupid meat head talk.
I understand why they were chosen to be currency. Because it was believed you cannot make your own gold, and pass it off as real. Therefore creating inflation and debt.
The thing I don't get, is using them as jewellery🤷♂️
This lady is attractive.
they're saying the lab diamonds look like the real ones but they don't... they look less flawed than real ones lmao
Lab diamonds are purer and clearer than Earth diamonds
Gold doesn’t lose its shine and is also used in electronic connections
Lab diamonds 💎 are the best the Earth isn’t tour open to get them, and people don’t lose their lives over them🙏😇
It’s in tarnishable, it doesn’t rust. That’s why.
Joe doesn't understand..... gold is the only 100% energy transferable metal... meaning whatever energy goes in comes out with no loss of energy.
Invite Dr. Walter Block on for explanation! Professor of economics at Loyola University
It’s regarded as precious and has worth because it’s infinite. All that gold will be here forever in whatever form we choose. Melted, molded and casted forever for everyone
uh that is true of everything lol except helium shit floats away
It generates energy gold that is
I’m in agreement with Joe on the gold, in the aspect of jewelry and furnishings. I don’t like it. I’m a silver and platinum or rhodium lady. Joe knows gold has many properties or it wouldn’t be so sought after. I disagree with the lady in saying little is left! Gold has been mined here for aeons and continues to prosper; it just has to be dug up! I guess if we ever DO deplete it all gone, we might see other beings leaving the planet in ships sayin we got what we needed we’re out!🤔😂🤔🙏🏻
Monotonic Gold !!!!
Also the Amazon has emeralds, quartz and tourmalines not diamonds
Gold is used in So many ways !! Research please !!
Exactly why I won’t buy a diamond. Cubic zirconia is cheaper and looks better.
I read that many years ago there was a really rich man who had so much gold he gave some away and it broke the market of gold it was cheap at one point I wonder how much of that gold shown was his
Electrical and electronics love gold, silver, copper
GOLD allows most of our electronics to function among so many other things.....
Cell phones are made in the UK £3000 top wages paid
Gold - Its not because of electronics its worth money, Gold was before modern day Technology. Diamonds are worthless in the sense of usage. Controlled markets is the reason why.....Marketing.
Yeah I do think Joe is being a little short sighted with Gold. I mean look at the James Web Telescope for probably the most impressive and important usages of gold material currently.
You can’t expect Joe to be an expert on all things, it’s not like he’s refusing to accept Golds place in many industries.
Gold is used in all our cars
I Love watching and listening to Joe’s podcast, but to scale that amount to gold is actually a whole length of a Football field and a little over half a football field wide. Compared to a semi truck and trailer tells us that are around trucks daily what the scale is.
Diamond mines are horrible. People die getting those stones out of the ground. A large portion of the workers are children. We can make them but we’d rather people still die to get one for it to be worth something to us. Says volumes about humanity. Even then, it’s probably smaller than you think you are worth.
Oh traxs is gonna have fun with this
Gold is a very, very higher priority when it comes to circuitry. Because it is a far better conductor than copper
Gold is produced by the Earth in equal amounts to the population of the Earth. Tell me that’s not weird.
joe, gold doessss sooooooooooooo muuuuuuccccchhhhhh jesus bro💀🤦🏼♂️
She is so beautiful
It's like the hunger games where 12 districts work for the capitol, just imagine the district's being these poor places on earth like this lady and joe are describing where they work for practically nothing so we in the developed world which represents the capitol can have everything.
The government could easily and probably does mine that stuff for themselves and how the hell does w wry jewelry store in the world keep getting Gold??
2 swimming pools of gold is all that has been mined. And only 2’ feet deep of 1 pool of platinum!!!
Every computer has gold
Wall Street wants the cheapest global labor possible to Boost the profits for the shareholders
If we put it in our upper atmosphere we could lower the temperature, but we will never do that.
I don’t believe that’s all the gold in the world. Maybe recorded… but I highly doubt that’s all the gold.
It's alot of diamonds 💎 found in Arkansas
gold has only been the standard since the beginning of time. duh
When he hits her with “well…they’re nOoOoOtTtT…” I lost it
I don’t want lab made diamonds
You also cannot tell the difference at all with the naked eye that a diamond is real/lab. There is no way to tell. Absolutely no way to tell, unless you buy a machine to test it
Another dude spreading misnomers
People will experience can tell from the scintillation. Lab diamonds do not refract the same as natural diamond they have much more fire and color and dance than any natural stone.
@@Hashdollarswhat the OP said was fact. You can’t tell from the naked eye.
@@deafintheleft5741 not a fact. What you are repeating is a phrase stupid people repeat in an attention to sound smart.
Any good jeweler can tell from the fire and scitilation. Natural diamonds have no where near the same colors or flash that a laboratory diamond does. So keep repeating bullshit.
In order for any natural diamond to flash the way a regular lab diamond would it would have to be a 0.01% IF quality and colorless diamond that then flashes all colors with lots of red and yellows which isn’t how diamonds work.
So keep repeating bullshit on CZcams if you feel the need to but I just explained to you in English how that isn’t true.
@@deafintheleft5741 my page has diamond in it. Custom 40 pointers natural diamond tennis chains. I bet money you both can’t upload a video with any diamond jewelry at all, but are experts.
De Beers! I know that’s right
❄️ icy girl
Gold has soo many crazy properties can't believe he doesn't know that. And lab diamonds r more perfect then natural
joe check the tip of the pyramid man, sure gold is rare but it gets artificial shortaged from people wich dont want to have independent people
Annunaki want gold and bread it into our dna to mine for it
The Mayans thought gold was a part of their god I'm pretty sure. I know they covered Montezuma and the other leaders with gold every morning because they thought he was a living god. Gold is also seen as the same color as the sun, Witch many cultures saw as a or the "god". My guess is that is why gold started out being seen as valuable because it was divine metal in their eyes.
We don't know for sure that's the amount of gold.maybe that's only for US? And people still mining
Gold looks 1,000000 times better the. Silver
6 feet and high rising
Gold is the best insulation, best for electric things
You mean conductor? Gold isn't an insulator.
the "royal" Egyptians eat gold some say it prolongs your life
It’s in all of our computers Joe
7:50 oops
We are obsessed with gold because of word of mouth...
Joe is smitten with her
Ugh… we sold us out
I like joe but I see why people could not
Silver looks better on white skin. Gold looks better on black
Unless you're an alchemist
0:32 thank you! I'm the same way about things like gold or diamonds. Anybody give me the rarest most expensive diamond, I'm trying to sell it ASAP
we ablsoluti make weapons w it. just look up theres is space an gold make space work
Hay k Mart has dimends 😂😂😂
Yeah dude.
DeBeers is from Cecil Rhodes and Rhodesia.
The native folks were enslaved via a system of taxes put in place.
In order to pay these taxes these folks had to go to work in the alluvial diamond mines.
Tin cans tied around they necks, crawling around on hands and knees all 'pink'.
'Pink'.
That many diamonds everywhere.
Taxes were like hut tax, poll tax.
Dog tax.
Hut tax is equivalent to property tax.
If we had as many diamonds on the market as were actually mineable, prices would drop to 1% of the current value.
Really good Frontline on this topic back in the early 1990s.
#Ihaveahighschooleducation
💀♠️🎯
I wonder if the price of gold drops and the price of silver rises after this airs?
Oh!! And do you think the poor people mining the cobalt have cellphones yet?? They are everywhere seemingly..
INDIAN LAND? in BRAZIL? since when?
She is nice.
Is nice, i like.
Super conductive
I've always preferred silver over gold.
Rare minerals sold to China
Who engineered that?
Let her talk
Opals
Look to the Bible to understand why gold is precious.
I’m glad my girlfriend doesn’t care about real vs man made diamonds.
