    I agree with how you scored these tires. I've owned three out of those five tires and tested the other two at one point. My favorite is the aztex mostly because it works in every muddy situation. Though I will admit, they do wear fast(exept for the 30in aztex since it has a fatter tread). The assassinators are good but their very heavy and they lose out in swamps and sand from my testing(Their also used everywhere because of the name and looks and are over rated by those who haven't tried other tires). The motohavok is good all round but has bad clean out. The XM310 is just good. Though I do trail ride in the hills a lot in-between holes so they don't work their. The outlaw 2 to me is a crappy outlaw 1 that's harder to spin and rides way worse. Even though(if you have the power to spin them) they pull a little better in the mud. Overall great video!
    Also a 33in aztex is true to height and can even be taller than 33ins

      They funny thing is, many people just pick a tire because thats what their buddies use. It takes trail and error. Each tire has a draw back. Aztexs still.my favorite as well

    I would say the OG outlaws are probably the best tires if you ride Hondas, they are very lightweight for a full on mud tire and seem to clean out very well at low speeds, they tend to float rather than dig in deep mud

      In my opinion Aztex are a little bit better because the treat is more separated allowing them to clean even better

    I purchased a set of mud tires off of Ostacruisers 6x6 last winter. and a 32x10x15 sxs mud tire works really really well on a truck I'd rate them 10/10. we build a mud truck out of an old Toyota landcruiser and put a hopped up sbc 350 in it and in 4x4 we haven't found anything that can stop it. it is incredible. I will be purchasing a set of 34" assasinators for a truck I'm building

      Moto Slayers...yes I have seen them in action and they work well in mud and on trail. They seem to be a better version of the XM 310s. However if you want taller than 30s need to go to a larger wheel size.

    Can you give some clarity?
    Thanks! 😊

      ATV set up when new is based on the stock tires. Once you change tires to a bigger size and/or heavier then one thing need to adjust is clutching. Everything else you mentioned will be fine. Unless going to great big massive tires.

    Personally honestly, I am a fan of the xm310’s. I have a friend that has Aztecs. The assinators are a decent tire on the trail. Been debating on switching things up because where I went last year 29” xm310’s did not match up. I really had to fight to get out of some mud holes.

    • @ADVENTURESThisWay
      @ADVENTURESThisWay  Před rokem

      The XM 310s work great in mud, but literally there are times you turn handle bars and keep going strait. 29's are not near tall enough...not sure what your trails are like, but we have lots of rock. On trail, Nators are ok at best. Aztexs you can trail rip as hard as you want. On a dirt road with Nators if not careful you'll end up in the ditch.

  • @EC_ATV_Outdoors

    The main annoyance is definitely a lack of standards for true height.
    OEM rim sizes are fairly standard, yet tire sizes vary from those in width. Which between tire manufacturers making widths not in standards of ATV manufacturers OEM widths makes the tires not true height on OEM rims. Then add that even if all things are kosher, the dang tire manufacturers still make 25's that are only 24". So then you decide to get 27"s to get a little extra clearance only to find that the 27"s measure 25".
    It's madening when trying to choose a tire that is the height you really want. 🤬
