    Dude! I just started BDO again after a 4 year break and I went full on Lifeskilling and wanted to let you know, that you provide such valuable content for my journey. Thanks for that! It’s super easy to follow your tips with your calm voice! Do you plan to release a ‚lifeskill overview in 2022’ video? Like sth that wrap it all up or some daily routine at your point? Keep the awesome content up! I binged watched everything regarding this season 😅☺️☺️

    5:25 I wish bdo devs implement offline afk fishing or the farms grows when offline, cos here in my country eletricity bills are getting more expensive. I won't do afk activities in bdo anymore, besides it wears the computer. In lost ark you can setup a lot of afk stuff and the timer counts even when you are offline.

    • @ian-tumulak
      @ian-tumulak Před 2 lety +5

      This is the reason why I stop AFK horsing. After a year, my desktop requires CPU and RAM replacement. While this reach me to Master 6 from AFK horsing alone, the risk of wearing out the parts faster and cost of electric bill does not put weight into it.

    Imperial turn in of grana is one step away from storage keeper, downside is that houses cost a ton of CP

  • @PatrickMurphy2
    @PatrickMurphy2 Před 2 lety +2

    Everyone SLEEPS on Grana, theres a residence right next to storage, marketplace, imp fishing, imp cooking, and blacksmith for repairs. All of those NPC's stand in line with each other. Great mid-high tier grind spot in your back yard!(Pollys) Featherwolf hunting spot just north, and plenty of fish nearby! Plus a dock not too far away for saling and bartering!
    I run to Trent for wood chopping too, but its a bit of a trek.

    For those interested, hunting's pretty good near Eilton. There's a hunting spot right outside the city, and another couple not too far away, and all three of those hunting spots drop breaths of O___(Forgot the name, basically breaths of Narcion, but all cold and stuff) and the region also has a few hunting quests too. Only problem may be that after people start hanging out in the new zone for a while, the meats/bloods will crash the same way wolf blood has thanks to O'draxia hunting, especially since Yak Meat is basically only used for Drieghaniese meals, which generally aren't major money-makers anyways.
    But yeah, depending on what you're looking for it's probably in the top two or three with Valencia and O'draxia as far as hunting goes.
    For those who are curious about those two places, Valencia's my personal favorite with its easy access to Lion meat/blood and sheep blood/lamb meat, all of which are out of stock at the moment, as well as a handful of scorpions to gather on the way to/from if you want, you don't need that many of them to cook with anyways. Unfortunately, Valencia doesn't have a Breath of whatever item, and while it does have a hunting bonus quest it's just for 250 lion meat, the buff, and hunting tokens.
    Meanwhile, O'draxia is VERY near it's hunting ground, has a few hunting quests that unlock as part of a chain, and is a good source of Breaths of Narcion's, deer parts, and wolf meat, as well as a large home to hang your many, many heads in. But it's also got shadow lions, which are almost never worth the trouble, rhino's, who are better, but still probably not worth it, and a lot of things here have quickly dropped in value after the hunting buff.

    • @walterdimmick653
      @walterdimmick653 Před 2 lety +3

      Shadow lions are great if you have the gear for it and do alchemy and cooking. Rhinos are best hunting experience in game, so push to Guru 1 on those so you get 4 shots per reload.

I've been playing at a pretty fast pace and only slowed down a bit when I reached Kamasylvia questline (loved it!). Your leveling up videos have helped me a ton, my Guardian is at lvl 60 now! I'm a very casual player (when it comes to grinding and stuff, I actually spend a LOT of time playing :P) and seeing how many videos you have on cooking, alchemy, hunting etc. makes me super excited! I moved to Eilton after seeing this video. It was so much work to get all my cooking stuff from Heidel to there and i had to over encumber 10 characters for travel and completely empty my warehouse to get everything to Eilton. The only downside is that im never able to dry my fish after fishing, its always snowing when im online :P But outside of that, its a great place to live with my cooking main. The imperial boxes are still in Heidel though. Im not ready for the loss of money on those yet. There are not so much people fishing there on EU servers.

    You also forgot a major lifeskill plus for Eilton. The dailies give you Oxiter Crystals, which you can exchange for Supreme Utensils. It takes about 20 minutes or so of just running back and forth, maybe gathering something to get the 25 crystals for a free daily utensil. It's awesome.

    Heidel turn in with storage container is way better, but nice tip on cp cheap longterm storage. Just buy your cooking and herbs once every 6 months on an alt with overloaded horse. Eilton imperial fishing already selling out, that is getting worse. There are better cities to fish afk in. Cooking is not that good because in heidel, veila, your workers are dumping grains, honey, etc right into your storage in heidel or veila.
    The eilton hunting is a bit of a disappointment, as it is not as good as Odylita, not even close. Maybe the hunting will improve.
    I mean if you enjoy farming for barley, then go for it, but I think that is a colossal waste of time compared to many other crops.

    This was a little weird for me. I have my different Life Skills (mostly) on separate alts. It wouldn't occur to me to do it all on one character. I see what you mean about being able to do a lot of different things in Eilton, you're totally right. I have noticed a lot of the same conveniences that you mention here... the city has been winning me over despite my initial negative reaction to the new zone's storyline quest. Hated it. Once I finished that, though, I keep being pulled back to Eilton for several reasons, most of which you mention here.
    Fun fact: There is no mining in the new zone. Well, not "none"... there is jade in one specific cave... also rhyolite that you can get rough obsidian ore... in the same cave... and then Ice, if you climb up the mountain high enough. That's it. All those rocks you see... useless. Bizarre. No idea what's going on there. It's like the production manager for the expansion just forgot to add "Mining" to the Gantt chart when they were doing the initial set up getting ready to design the new region.
    Anyway, great zone for timber and sap... plentiful. Herbs as far as the eye can see. New mushrooms, a couple of which are actually useful. There are a lot of weasels that you can't use at all... that's frustrating. Blood? Nope. Meat? Nope. Hide? Nope. Just kill quest nuisances. There are other things you can kill for meat, but not as much as some other zones. I have seen several Hunting dailies, along with taxidermy recipes and all that, so I think Hunting will be good here... though I haven't gotten into it yet.
    So if your jam is Sailing, Bartering, taming Horses, or Mining, you are out of luck. Otherwise, this zone has a lot to offer... and Eilton is set up to be very convenient. I agree with all of your points. The idea of trying to do all of that on one character though... uh... no, not for me. I have a fisher in Grána, a horse trainer in Duvencrune, a farmer in Velia, a Hunter in O'draxxia, and my cook in Heidel. It's probably going to stay that way. I get it, that wouldn't work for a lot of people, but it works well for me.

    Do you do any alchemy? I've been wanting to give it a try for quite a while, have a ton of ingredients from a year of farming, and even have a character with gear created for it, but I don't have any idea where to start. Do you think Eilton is worthwhile?

    Eilton is good but still not perfect as a lifeskiller.
    House CP is normal, storage and imperial delivery are quite close, the horse path is quite long, imperial fishing is available, fruit vendors are available.
    But for farming spots it is still too far compared to duvencrune/heidel/velia. Alustin is still not available.

    Great video! How is your horse so fast? What's skills and tier?

    • @Vluxuation
      @Vluxuation Před 2 lety

      Its a T8 courser with all the courser skills. He was drifting and then using instant acceleration to boost. Also the speed stat on horses is random. As an example I have a T8 courser and it's fast but nowhere near as fast as his or some others I've seen however once I go for a dream horse and at some point it triggers my speed with significantly go up so I'm not too worried about it.

    levi (or you fellow viewers) theres any easy way to move my life xp from an alt to another (besides the pearl option)?
    i, like many i imagine, have only one alt for life skills, and thats becoming a problem, i want to be in my house for cooking, at my farm sometimes and want to spend the night fishing, but the locations and travel time are frustating sometimes so i imagine having different alts for different lifeskills would solve some problems

    hi one question
    if i change to eilton with my fences
    where or how would it be the best to get the 10 workers for the garden together ?
    my fences are in verlia right behind eileen so i have 2 worker from velia and 8 from heidel

    • @TeoR
      @TeoR Před 2 lety

      It doesn't really matter where your workers are located for the garden.
      It will take them a long time to get to the garden, but once there they will just keep working. I just hire random giants as free worker in every city and use them on my gardens.
