I think it was the FA Cup result against Utd on March 17th that did it. The team were determined to win a quadruple for Klopp, but the nature of that loss completely mentally damaged them & they haven't recovered since.

This has been a really tough year, and we aren't out of the hot water quite yet. But this victory is so meaningful. 13 years without a win at Goodison against them. One of our best games of the year, clean sheet win to crush Liverpool's title hopes, and seal a nice cushion with our last game in hand. After the way the Premier League has come after us, twice, it's probably most satisfying to see how the team has bounced back in the games following their sanctions. Problem for Liverpool is Klopp signed the' no more trophies contract' the minute he announced his departure. Never more evident with the triple substitution , only Elliot worth his place on the bench.
If I was Klopps boss I would also tell him to run down the season with his assembled masses. New manager , new money but don't expect much silverware next season.
