The waiting on the slow guys was so relatable 😂 just drop the ego and let a single go through. It’s different if you’re walking and can’t catch them but that junk is so annoying
Most weekend golfers are pretty sketchy on etiquette and a lot of guys would be so uncertain about what they should do about a faster group behind them. I got behind 4 beginner teens this past summer and they were horsing around and just had no idea. Good kids having a good time, but zero knowledge about course etiquette.
Until recently, singles had no standings for etiquette to play thru; they should have been paired up. The reason is the same, someone playing thru can destroy your timing and put your game off the same as a single being behind a foursome. That being said, if there is a single behind my foursome we usually have them tee off with us and then play on thru.
Garrett shout out to 1 million!!!!!! I have watched this channel what seems like forever and seems like yesterday I remember watching just a kid doing trickshots in his backyard. Thanks for letting me be on this journey with you.
I enjoy watching Garrett and Good Good, but this video made me like watching G so much more. The crossed leg, hand on hip, lean on club while waiting on the tee block as a single gets a good run from me, I appreciated that very much 😂
I’m the type of person that likes to be good at things immediately. And golf has been a very humbling experience. 18 and been golfing for about 5 months and best score is about 98 thru 18 holes. Now i still suck but i like watching you guys. keep it up
I was the same way, but if ya practice and learn the science behind everything in the swings it helps, also watching good golfers helped me a lot, just seeing how they swing. 21 and I started seriously playing last year. Best round was 84 this year and now under a 15 handicap. Last year I had never broken 100 and when you start getting in the 80s and 70s it gets ya hooked lol you’re further along than I was, having a 98 isn’t terrible for 5 months, at the end of the day we all suck at golf one way or another 😂 that’s why we aren’t pros lol
Anybody else just love this kid? Like, just the lets play mario kart tonight comment. Truly just enjoying and living life. Keep up the great content my guy. Absolutely killing it!
still a fun video to watch regardless of score! The wind messed with your ball so much it was insane to watch. Also to answer garret's question: hibiscus
Feel ya on this round. Was always a solo golfer and we are not well liked. I used to hate waiting on the group in front of you and the group behind asks you to join. You say yes, but just want that alone time...
last time out i wanted to play strictly by myself and it was a slow day, group behind catches me at the turn and the older ladies start griefing me about not joining the group in front of me... theres 6 other groups in front of them. its not gonna change the pace of play, and i want to play a round 100% by myself as i never do.
Yeah I like playing alone, if I get stuck behind a slower group of players, I usually play multiple shots for practice instead of playing through as long as no one is behind me
Imagine if there was a shot clock on every hole where the hole closes up if you don’t complete the hole on time! It’s incredible to see G-Rat be able to achieve 1 under par while talking and speed golfing!
I once was playing 18 and got caught up behind a group of four, and i was by my self so when they were taking a while i would just sit on the ground for a solid five minutes before each shot
Why I love Garett is that he was taught right . Knows that it’s not right of that group to let him go through . This is a lost art nowadays and no one knows basic course etiquette
Garret, you're a good egg. I'm with ya' on the 'non-confrontational' thing...I don't do it in general, and especially NOT on the course. If a group in front of me fails to acknowledge me, as a single, I'll just ask if I can skip past them, and the hole, and leave that problem with them. Post-round I'll pop into the pro shop and ask them if I can play the skipped hole and inform them there was an 'etiquette issue' on the course (yeah, a little passive-aggrssive, but hey...)
I have seen Van Gough sunflower painting. It hangs in a museum in Amsterdam. I am not any kind of art expert. I found the layering of the painting to be amazing.
You sounded like bear grylls in the intro and that had me hooked I was gonna watch it anyways but that intro just got me having to know if you can break it again I love all your videos keep up the (good good) work
I mean the issues is, they may not actually be slow. They are just playing slower than a single would since there are 4 people. Before calling the clubhouse, you should just ask the group first. I would bet they would let him through and he could move on quickly. This would also be way faster at resolving the issue than waiting for a ranger
Waiting for a slow group is so common and frustrating.......You are a class act not pushing the situation....Letting a single or a twosome playing through is just a golf courtesy..The only problem is that when they let you play through and watch you tee off, many times you hit your worst tee shot of the day.....Very common in my case...........
I play solo a couple times a week & it’s tough getting behind a big slow group, the worst part is it frustrates you & you may give them too much energy/focus. It is their right to keep playing, they don’t have to let us play through. I’ve found if you ask they ALWAYS let you. Great video G!
I’ve got a real nice Precision Pro NX-10 Good Good range finder you can borrow, Garrett. 😃 Love your videos as always. Your persistence and positivity are a good example for guys like me who aren’t nearly as good as you. 24:18 Oh and I don’t have a favorite flower but my wife loves orchids.
When I'm behind slow players who don't look behind to le me through, I usually go and ask.. I hate it, makes me super uncomfortable.. but most of the time they either say they didn't notice and let me though or they're new golfers who don't know the etiquette.
I remember watching old school videos from this course and tracking that mansion being built and seeing the progress in each video. Love watching the journey from day 1
I hate getting stuck behind slow people. I also hate being rushed, so If there is no one in front of me and a single or double is playing faster, I will gladly let them through or ask them to join me.
When I used to play golf with my golfing buddies, we played in the afternoon in the summer and never took more than 3 hours for 18 holes. We always played another 18 before dark and hardly ever would someone play through us because we were so fast. Golfers that are new to the game need to learn how to keep the game moving to make it more enjoyable.
Slow play always get to me, doesn't matter how positive I feel. That's when a good round turns bad, and when a bad one goes to worse. Anyway, was wondering...maybe the wrong place to ask...why almost no new content on GoodGood in the last +-10 days?
Curious, how cold was it? Like what 50°, 60°? That's good winter golf temp in WA State! Lol, we're pretty excited at 55° 60° with sun during the winter here
Just when you thing you have it figured out, you have a day like this and golf does not go your way. The differnce is Garret still shot par, I usually end up at 100.
Garrett I will say that your 4-6 foot putts look automatic when you play and that’s something I need to work on if I’m going to break 70 for sure. I definitely over think them and miss 3 a round or more.
One of my best rounds ever came in Wales. They didn't even have 150 yard markers. It was all done with feel and eyeball. I shot 75, not my record, but the most fun
Should 100% invest in at least one of those GPS things that clip onto the cart that syncs with the courses to at least give you a rough number if you don't have the rangefinder with you that day
The waiting on the slow guys was so relatable 😂 just drop the ego and let a single go through. It’s different if you’re walking and can’t catch them but that junk is so annoying
It's wild watching the round drop off after too. Just totally kills the flow.
To be fair though, if Garrett asked when he first caught them, I almost guarantee this would have been a non issue.
@@ahastar1141But he shouldn’t have to, these golfers should have enough common sense and etiquette to let the single play through.
Until recently, singles had no standings for etiquette to play thru; they should have been paired up. The reason is the same, someone playing thru can destroy your timing and put your game off the same as a single being behind a foursome. That being said, if there is a single behind my foursome we usually have them tee off with us and then play on thru.
"If you are overthinking... stop it..."
Proceeds to overthink asking the group ahead of him if he can play through
That birdie put on hole 3 was ridiculous son 😂😂😂 never seen that much break on a 3 footer in my life.
Playing in Californias coast be like
Garrett shout out to 1 million!!!!!! I have watched this channel what seems like forever and seems like yesterday I remember watching just a kid doing trickshots in his backyard. Thanks for letting me be on this journey with you.
Agree to that
The longer you try to improve, the harder it becomes to produce improvement, I commend you for your persistence.
I enjoy watching Garrett and Good Good, but this video made me like watching G so much more. The crossed leg, hand on hip, lean on club while waiting on the tee block as a single gets a good run from me, I appreciated that very much 😂
The “uh huh” outta Ryder at 22:30 😂😂😂
It never ceases to amaze me how you make golf look so easy.
I’ve played that course before and some of those holes are no joke. That number 2 par 3 always gets me. I’ve been in that sand trap many times.
This guy is winning on and off the course! Don't let them put you down G.

Practice swings in the opposite direction usually works when you're trying to play through. 😉
7:43 "Left to right... Dude! You wanna play some Mario Kart tonight?!" 😂
I’m the type of person that likes to be good at things immediately. And golf has been a very humbling experience. 18 and been golfing for about 5 months and best score is about 98 thru 18 holes. Now i still suck but i like watching you guys. keep it up

These are the best videos that gm posts
Just wanna let you know you’re the reason I’ve been getting into golf so much recently and I love your content and also live in Dallas so big fan
Just ask him on a date already
Zip it up when your done mate
Just got my first good good apparel! My mom and dad got my sister and I both a beanie! I love it.
Favorite flower is the sego lily. First flower up In the spring, growing through the snow fields
G made that look so easy, and to score a round that most of us can only dream of doing. It's a pleasure to watch a craftsman at work.
Got work @ 4am. Thank u for uploading this right before I sleep 🙏🏼
Ryder eating the twix is jokes 😂
I like the thing about overthinking and the stop part
Those conditions are my worst golf nightmare. Good job.
Good to see you back at Twin Creeks. I think the last time, a lot of those houses were under construction. Anyway, nice round on a very windy day.
Yeah they finally finished that one house 😂
Dude...the slow groups just get to me sometimes. Especially when the weather is cold or windy. But love the content brotha...keep grinding
Garrets videos just make my day!
Hi corinna
*smooch*kiss@@justin880
The winter Good Good gear is killer. I'd use a lot of it for snowboarding layers
Feel ya on this round. Was always a solo golfer and we are not well liked. I used to hate waiting on the group in front of you and the group behind asks you to join. You say yes, but just want that alone time...
OMG sameeeeeee

Yeah I like playing alone, if I get stuck behind a slower group of players, I usually play multiple shots for practice instead of playing through as long as no one is behind me
G Money, the play by play on how to “play through” a slow group without asking. Hilarious!!!
Thanks for the over thinking part!😊
Imagine if there was a shot clock on every hole where the hole closes up if you don’t complete the hole on time! It’s incredible to see G-Rat be able to achieve 1 under par while talking and speed golfing!
That powder blue putter is FIRE!!!!
I once was playing 18 and got caught up behind a group of four, and i was by my self so when they were taking a while i would just sit on the ground for a solid five minutes before each shot
18 birdies app.... for when you forget the range finder
Great to see the house on hole 4/5 is done!
Bearded Irises are a beautiful flower. Also, nice round. Good head space, brother.
Why I love Garett is that he was taught right . Knows that it’s not right of that group to let him go through . This is a lost art nowadays and no one knows basic course etiquette
You're right its not right or just, its common courtesy with an empty course, take your time enjoy your round.
kinda fun to enjoy thr time while theyre back there tho lol
Garret, you're a good egg. I'm with ya' on the 'non-confrontational' thing...I don't do it in general, and especially NOT on the course. Agreed, It never hurts to ask and doing so with a chill tone will generally go a long way. Doesn't need to be confrontational.
11:00 bro this is one of the hardest parts of filming that nobody usually sees. The ignorance and obliviousness of some people is incredible 😅
Love this style of video Garrett
As someone who works in finance, I never in my existence would have thought I would hear Garrett say the words “P&L statement” 😅
It made me laugh
I have seen Van Gough sunflower painting. It hangs in a museum in Amsterdam. I am not any kind of art expert. I found the layering of the painting to be amazing.
Have y’all thought about adding a hand warmer on your fall/winter lineup
You sounded like bear grylls in the intro and that had me hooked I was gonna watch it anyways but that intro just got me having to know if you can break it again I love all your videos keep up the (good good) work
He's got that dawg in him. Tough conditions, great round.
Things i never thought a kid from kansas city would say “Today in texas its cold and windy” 0:08
Over thinking, at the wrong moments, needs will control. Over thinking in general should not be stopped 😅
When groups hold you up, just called the clubhouse and ask for a Marshall to do a ride, specifically on the hole you need to get through.
Or just ask if you can play thru?
Now that's aggressive
I mean the issues is, they may not actually be slow. They are just playing slower than a single would since there are 4 people. Before calling the clubhouse, you should just ask the group first. I would bet they would let him through and he could move on quickly. This would also be way faster at resolving the issue than waiting for a ranger
I’d give anything to see you play Victory Hills in Elizabeth PA. My home course. Such a difficult course. Par 71. Ab 7k yards.
Ah the nostalgia!
Garrett "innuendo" Clark coming in my face
Great job as always!! Every course I have played have a rule to let faster players thru!! LOL.
I play solo a couple times a week & it’s tough getting behind a big slow group, the worst part is it frustrates you & you may give them too much energy/focus. It is their right to keep playing, they don’t have to let us play through. I’ve found if you ask they ALWAYS let you. Great video G!
You're more dedicated than I am! I'll play when it's cold, and I'll play when it's windy, but I will not play cold and windy!
The innuendos are insaaaane 🤣 good golf considering the conditions G
I’ve got a real nice Precision Pro NX-10 Good Good range finder you can borrow, Garrett. 😃 Love your videos as always. Your persistence and positivity are a good example for guys like me who aren’t nearly as good as you. 24:18 Oh and I don’t have a favorite flower but my wife loves orchids.
"Dude, you wanna play some Mario kart tonight?" came out of nowhere 🤣
Look up purple hybrid delphinium - a beautiful flower
Bloomed ranunculus too
And one more
Blue Anemones
im australian, so its got to be the wattle flower, or more so to be specific, as a new south welshman, its the waratah flower
When I'm behind slow players who don't look behind to le me through, I usually go and ask.. I hate it, makes me super uncomfortable.. but most of the time they either say they didn't notice and let me though or they're new golfers who don't know the etiquette.
Great video to watch 👍😁,.. I think concidering you are doing so well. I also refer to the Colder wheather ,…⛳️✅
I remember watching old school videos from this course and tracking that mansion being built and seeing the progress in each video. Love watching the journey from day 1
Get THAT MAN a SCHARFF!
S/o sunflower. We play it ever Sunday!
I hate getting stuck behind slow people. I also hate being rushed, so If there is no one in front of me and a single or double is playing faster, I will gladly let them through or ask them to join me.
Those beanies are so clean!!!
Is it me, or were those clouds looked dope the whole video
Garrett, you’re such a good ball striker. 🏌️♂️ The pots weren’t rolling in. So important to be dialed in with the putter. Love the videos!
Congrats on hitting 1M subscribers. 🤜🏼🤛🏼
When I used to play golf with my golfing buddies, we played in the afternoon in the summer and never took more than 3 hours for 18 holes. LOL at the taking free relief
Come to Nebraska buddy! Tiger Backwoods wants a shot at the Good Good boys haha
Dope Thumbnail Ryder! 🤙🏾😎
Slow play always get to me, doesn't matter how positive I feel. That's when a good round turns bad, and when a bad one goes to worse. Anyway, was wondering...maybe the wrong place to ask...why almost no new content on GoodGood in the last +-10 days?
As a Canadian I must say cold is a stretch, windy yes
new drinking game, take a shot every time garret says "against all odds"
You should be pissed. I’m pissed just watching this. Etiquette is a must they lack.
Curious, how cold was it? Like what 50°, 60°? That's good winter golf temp in WA State! Lol, we're pretty excited at 55° 60° with sun during the winter here
“It’s freezing here in Texas, it’s a blistering 70 degrees, gosh so cold”
Favorite flower: Thistle. It doubles as a weapon.
Garrett- "If your over thinking . . . Stop."
Garrett: Dude wanna play mario kart tonight?
Bro: sure? 🤨
Garrett: Nice let me make this for eagle
Just when you thing you have it figured out, you have a day like this and golf does not go your way. The differnce is Garret still shot par, I usually end up at 100.

Favorite flower..!!! That green kush
Having to wait behind them then birdie when they are watching gotta love that
One of my best rounds ever came in Wales. They didn't even have 150 yard markers. It was all done with feel and eyeball. I shot 75, not my record, but the most fun
Love these videos! Keep grinding man.
WHEN WILL THE "GOOD GOOD GOLF CLUB" COME TO FRUITION??? That would be the dream course of an entire generation
Brown Eyed Susan is my favorite flower
Should 100% invest in at least one of those GPS things that clip onto the cart that syncs with the courses to at least give you a rough number if you don't have the rangefinder with you that day
Some people just don't know golf protocol. They don't mean to be jerks. They're just ignorant.
Let's go GM Golf! 🎉❤
That Mario cart was super random but i like that too haha
Bro pulled up in the BMW XM👌
Riders “uh huh” at 22:30 had be rolling😭
Yo! You should do a series where you travel to different courses to try and beat the club champion of that course ! Just an idea !
Pastry Flour is my favorite honestly
