      @@DrakesDetailing drake I had a question, what vacuum did you use for the water? Also is it better to pressure wash the leaves or can you use a vacuum and do it? I visited florida for the first time in my life and after a fishing trip I helped a friend clean a boat. And I though about maybe trying to start my own detailing boat business. So watching your videos will really help me with that. Thanks a lot. I’ll definitely be asking for more advice in the future 😂. Keep up the good work. It really helps me and your viewers as well.

    7 minutes, I like the fact that you appreciated the customer and justified that $500 was a good price because she was nice. I've been doing Professional Automotive Detailing for about a year and am moving from AZ to a place where there is tons of boats. I figured why not try to work on some boats I bet I could make some money. Also I was thinking you should vacuum the interior first that way all those leaves that are soiled don't fly around to areas that you may have already cleaned. Great content! Looking forward tot seeing more of your videos.

    For rust marks and brown stain from the water line down I used to cross the US border at Sumas Washington to pick up a product called Barkeepers Friend. It’s a powder that comes in a can like Ajax’s or comet cleanser. Make a paste on your smaller brush lather it up let it soak for a few minutes use your brush or rag to wipe it off. It’s an amazing product. $5.00 up in Canada now.

I worked for a company that did nothing but cleaner/restorer waxes and the boats would be oxidized again in less than 3 months. Looks good. Do you 303 the vinyl after cleaning? I know the bleach can strip the vinyl and cause it to dry out and stain easier, but the 303 protects it and keeps it soft

    I've been using cleaner wax on my boat while cleaning it at the sandbar when I'm bored!! What would you recommend for that kind of cleaning. Only heavy clean twice a year. Otherwise boat sits on the dock all summer?? Also, what psi is your pressure washer. That wont damage the wiring on the engine bay or the wiring under the dash, or the seat stitching?? Thanks man

    Sweet video. This is almost exactly my boat. Do you not wax the bottom of the boat? If so what do you do about the trailer supports?

    • @DrakesDetailing
      @DrakesDetailing  Před 4 lety +2

      The bottom is not part of my package that I sell people unless it is specifically requested.
      In that Case I require it to get lifted at a ship yard! I used to have some lifts but it wasn’t practical to keep them around for Mobile jobs.

    • @DrakesDetailing
      @DrakesDetailing  Před 4 lety

      If they don’t want to get it lifted I’ll just do what I can reach and or get a crawler to get under the boat

      I’m a huge fan of purple power and super clean. I don’t really dilute them, because when I need them I generally need all the cleaning power I can get. You just need to be carful it does not sit in the surface too long
