Root 5 = a/2b-3/2
We know that root 5 is irrational so a/2b-3/2 = irrational so 3+2 root 5 = irrational

Let we assume tha 3+2√5 is rational no.where a and b are co primes
2√5 = a-3/b (taking LCM )
√5 = a-3b/2a
A and b are integers
: A and b is rational no.
So a-3b/2a is also rational no. And √5
Is also rational
But, we know √5 is irrational
So our assumption is worng or incorrect
Hence, we conclude that 3+2√5 is irrational no. (Hence proved)

So,
3+2 root5 = a/b( a and b are

So,our assumption is wrong

Q3(i) technically is not correct. Because when you write b/a is rational, you don't really know if a=0 or not. If a=0 then b/a is not rational. Someone can oppose you for that
