Sigma needs most of time is patient and to wait the best shot possible regarding the positioning and what’s really going on in the game it self I’ve learned : 1- shield is important to keep it as long as possible you don’t really need to destroy ur shield to destroy mines field 2- you need your shield for poking and pressure the enemy team 3- just if you’re shield is broken just hit L shift or L1 in ps4/5 :)
I always found hog match up pretty easy due to the fact that you can simply shield his hook. You can also make him take a whole bunch of damage if he tries to walk on you with Accretion, which will force a lot of recources from enemy team if your team follows up on accretion. Hog also has no shield to block off team behind him so it is really easy to access it. His ultimate is basically useless against Sigma as he can basically negate it with his grasp and shield. The only time Sigma is going to be vulnerable to hog is if he uses his grasp when hog has hook, which is, again, avoidable if you shield dance.
I'm gonna be so upset if they nerf the one shot. It's already hard to hit becasue if they are moving when the rock stund them they won't land in the same place so the balls won't hit them. It's just a coll skill thing that increases sigmas skill ceiling and makes him more fun to play
You can’t really do anything to hog as sigma, he just breaks shields so fast and does not care abt your damage. He just hooks your supports, you can use rock to stop his hook or heal but if they are good they won’t let that happen
@@melvaughn true I guess but if a hog keeps getting his hooks blocked, a sigma gets more value by just existing then hog so it depends if the hog is hooking your teammates or is stupid enough to get baited by you
Yea my experience I’ve shit on a couple Hogs. Shield gets weak? Disable the shield and avoid the hook, afterwards move in with kinectic to get free shield and then rock him to gain some distance again. When he goes whole hog, that’s more free shield and you can save your teammates with your ults when he gets boosted and whole hogs. Me personally I love when I face a Roadhog I usually diff them easily. Out of all the Tanks i main (Rein, Orisa, Sigma, and sometimes Zarya) I find Sigma to be the most effective. He’s a really big target so you can land your balls easily which deals a good 110 DPS, which combined with decent DPS can make him take a breather early into a team fight. But then again I’m only going against Gold 3 Tanks so idk how it is at higher levels
My proudest sigma moment is when I pushed the payload out of junkertown spawn, i succd almost all damage allowing my team to push behind me, and when the enemy orisa threw sticc i spawned in 4head at the last second to blocc sticc. Probably not impressive as I’m still new to ow, but its still my best ⚽️🤏🗿 moment.
You are right. Though you'll still want to take care to not be hit by the javelin from behind, as this would cancel your Kinetic Grasp and you would lose your extra HP.

I do 2 ball - accretion - 2 ball instead of accretion - 2 ball. The gap there is like a fraction of a second anyway, i always add the 2 before hand

How is sigma bad against hog? Just play corners and use sheild to block hook, then go in

Sigma’s slow attack means hog a has re-gen’d his health by the time you get into the fight then you’ll see yourself back in phase 1 again

My best moment as sigma was when I fluxed an entire team and got a team kill all of them were low health
