- SoCal Gaming Expo is the largest gaming convention in Southern California that focuses on retro gaming, although there is some modern stuff too. Aside from many vendors selling video games and pop culture/collectible items, there are gaming tournaments, a cosplay content, voice actors signings, panels with popular content creators and a whole lot more.

Pasadena is a fantastic venue. Glad they brought it back there!

It looks a lot smaller than the MGC show that I was at a few months ago. Some of those prices are just astronomically high. Maybe that's a California thing?
800 for Gotcha that price charts at 450? People are insane. I hope peoplaren't apying that.
Video doesn't do it justice. It was huge, there were so many vendors you had to do at least 2 or 3 walkthroughs the hall to not miss everything they had for sale. I'd say they had about 130 vendors there easy
Some vendors are willing to negotiate and others not so much. Really just depends on the person. Also the final day of a convention, you will get people more and more willing to make deals. But yea, some def started way too high, but their easy enough to just walk away from.
The place was packed with vendors and attendees and tons of stuff to do. It was very well executed and planned out. I cannot wait to see what they can do next year.
