Heya! Thanks for this, it is helpful. Even though I'm running an NA 4AGE, knowing that I have some options when it comes to TBs is very useful, I'm looking at probably picking up a 3SGTE throttle body so I can use the PWM IAC valve.
Great video, considering this for my MR2. Glad to see an honest opinion at the end; I’ve been debating if the effort is worth it
@@VertigoGTI thanks man, perhaps my case was a bad one, but at least you can see how it’s done in case you do decide to do it yourself 👍. Hope you have better luck than me!
Great video
Thanks! I hope it was helpful somewhat :)
Have you still got the 4agze ae92? I have one aswell and would be good to speak to you about it 👍🏼
I do! Though shes off the road as it stands until I get the engine rebuilt

Does that right angle silicone hose contract on acceleration? stick a camera in there and check, could be why its rubbish.
I think it did to be honest - the engine is dead now, lost compression on some of the cylinders. I aim to put in a proper intake system rather than a crap bodged silicone one like in the video
@@AE92World hopefully back up and running soon for you.
I've got one of those ready to go and will try back to back dyno
@AE92World gidday, I've just installed over the weekend. Motor required 5-7% fuel VE increase nearly everywhere. That's with 660cc injectors.
Power was previously flatlining (not dropping) from 5000-8000rpm
it's worth doing, ideally though you'd just run a regular small port intake - I'll do this shortly.
Is 660cc the size of the stock injectors? @@Garage_Dori
