My only issue with this battle is that they made two continuity errors. 1.) Deadpool did not kill the Marvel universe and have a carbonium sword, that was actually one of his villains from another universe named Dreadpool. 2.) There is an explanation for Deathstroke's lost eye, he lost it *before* his healing factor was at it's peak. The real reason DP won was because he is immortal for three reasons, his healing factor, he was cursed by Thanos to be immortal and his arch enemy T-Ray can bring him back from the dead. In other words, he cheated. Cool battle though.
Heard from somewhere that Deadpool met that version with the sword, killed him, then took it.
I have to agree with you here, the unfortunate truth of it is that Death Battle has been putting out one sided fights for awhile. Or rather fixed fights in favor of specific character, which in my opinion ruins the point of the series.
Samuraiedge2 He met and they fought but, Deadpool was only able to beat him by making him realise the error of his ways so then Dreadpool *let* Deadpool kill him. There was an entire multiverse war between the heroic and the evil Deadpools.

Taskmaster cannot see into the future. He does not have any superpowers at all. What he has going for him is what is called "photographic reflexes", which means he has a photographic memory, but the nerve of it is connected directly to his muscle memory, allowing him to flawlessly copy any technique he has ever witnessed without practice.
It's absolutely ridiculous what he can do with it. If he watches footage of an attack in fast-forward, he can copy it and perform it at the speed he saw it. He can use it to copy the way someone moves their vocal chords in order to imitate their _voice_ (Yes, that means he can mimic someone's voice without even hearing them)
Taskmaster has copied the techniques of Ant Man, Batroc, Black Widow, Boomerang, Bushwacker, Blacklash, Black Knight, Black Panther, Captain America, Genis-Vell, Cable, Crossbones, Daredevil, Deadpool, Elektra, Falcon, Fatale, Firestar, Hawkeye, Iron Fist, Justice, Libra, Machete, Moon Knight, Oddball, Power Man, Puma, Punisher, Razorfist, Shockwave, Silverclaw, Silver Samurai, Spider-Man, Shatterstar, Swordsman, Tigra, Tumbler, US Agent, Warbird, Wolverine, and Zaran.
Over the years, he's gotten good enough to be able to watch how an opponent moves and figure out roughly what all they can and can't do. However, Deadpool is far too unpredictable for Taskmaster to figure out. That being said, Taskmaster is the only person in the world who has even come close, to the point where Taskmaster has even been hired (_by Deadpool_) to dress up as and impersonate Deadpool.
One last thing to note, that move that Deathstroke does at 19:58 in this video? He took that from Taskmaster.

Ash Cash It depends on the people, really. I prefer DC to Marvel hands down. But, I KNEW Deadpool would win from the start. True, it was a more even match than I originally thought, but the outcome was as expected.
This fight really could go wither way. While this wasn't 100% accurate, it was very entertaining and I certainly enjoyed it.

Deathstroke is way cooler than Deadpool without question is my opinion. However he is outmatched when it comes to Deadpool( Deus ex Machina incarnate) ever so slightly. Even if they didn't include Deadpool Kills the Marvel Universe( which isn't canon) Deadpool still would have won this. God I can't wait for Kirby vs Buu....

Alfonso, it's semi-canon in the fact that anything related to Deadpool, Deadpool makes it "canon". So if he kills the DC universe somehow with a piece of chewing gum in a completely non-canon game or comic, in the canon, he can grab that same piece of chewing gum just because he can break the fourth wall. He basically has cheat codes on at all times.
It is canon though, it was just an alternate reality. Deadpool could do all the same stuff if he wanted to. Plus he actually met and killed the evil Deadpool, which is how he got the sword.

Hey Ris, I don't know if you will see this, but I highly recommend you read the comics where Deathstroke are in them. He's possibly my favorite Supervillain in the DC Universe primarily because he is one of the best. He was the greatest villain of the Teen Titans, not just the animated but was also a very key villain in the comics in the well and plays a much bigger part in there as well.
But deadpool can't die so there's really nothing deathstroke could do

Well there were more powerful versions of Link that could have been used instead of what was used in that Death Battle. He could have made himself invincible if he were to drink chateau romani and then used Nayru's love. He could then turn into a giant and annihilate Cloud with unlimited magic. Link from Zelda 2 could have turned Cloud into slime. Link from A Link to The Past could have turned Cloud into slime too. Link from A Link Between Worlds could have used the triforce. The version used in Death Battle was a tamed version of Link if anything. In fact even if Cloud had the summons he would still probably lose.

kash smith Link's blessings didn't count as outside help, but Death Battle has had Starscream, who also can't die. If the other fighter can reduce the other to a point where it's impossible to fight without given a lot of time, like removing all their limbs, or turning them to ash and spreading them, it would count as them winning.

This one should have been easy to call. Notice how Deadpool can do impossible things, like pull an elephant from nowhere? That is because he can break the fourth wall, he knows he is a character in a book, and that means he can break the rules. Deathstroke despite everything he has going for him, does not know he is a character in a comic book meaning the rules still apply to him.

The only thing I didn't like about this battle was the fact that Deadpool got a non-canon carbonadium sword. That whole "Deadpool kills the Marvel universe" thing was non canon.

As someone who is a massive fan of both characters, my only issue is that I feel like they didn't really show in the battle just how amazing Deathstroke is as a tactician. He is more skilled as a fighter than Deadpool, and I feel like he should realize much more quickly that Deadpool wasn't dying, and attempt to formulate a plan around that. And to that end, Deadpool would have given him the perfect tool to do it. I really thought that as soon as Deadpool said "Oh, you heal fast too? I got something for that!" Deathstroke would have figured out a way to replicate Deadpool's own trick of stealing his sword and using it to kill him.
Not saying that Deathstroke would definitely have won, but I'd really like to have at least seen him calculate that in his head and come up with that plan. I could still see the fight going either way.
Deathstroke was already in his Rage-Mode at that Time, this is why he didn't realize what was happeining. If Deadpool had took out his Swrod earlier, Deathstroke would definetly use it against him.

I got a regenerating opponent for deadpool, even the carbonatium sword might not be entirely effective on. Deadpool vs. SCP-682, who is kept in a container filled with hydrochloric acid, to keep him occupied with constantly regenerating instead of escaping.

It's called the desk of death battle where they will be taking all the really interesting facts about characters that would have had no effect on the outcome so it was excluded.

I think what they actually did was that they took Wolverine's DNA, and spliced to find his healing factor gene. Then they (Weapon X) upgraded it so the healing factor doesn't stem from his (Deadpool) brain, but his entire body. That way he can't die by drowning or having his brain destroyed.
Seeing faster would be the speed at which your brain can translate optic-nerve stimulation into mental images.
We all see at the same speed ( even though that's not a thing ) but the way it works for death stroke is he can process it it's like seeing a bullet whizzing past, you will se it but not realise u did but death stroke can.

A lot of people call the Adamantium Wolverine-killing sword non-canon, but if it's in the comics I think it's canon. But... does that mean that Deadpool is the only one that can stop any comic series from running any further?

However, Deadpool later killed Dreadpool, but the comic doesn't specifically state if he took the sword or not.
Alternate universe actually. There was an entire multiversal war between the heroic DPs and the evil DPs. Normal Deadpool lead the Deadpool Corps where as Dreadpool, the one with that sword, lead the Evil Deadpool Corps. There was Kidpool, Lady Deadpool, Venompool, Galactus Pool, Chibi pool, Dogpool, Headpool ect ect ect.
Not sure if deadpool would care about this but the rules of chivalry say that the sword is now his.

This one really pissed me off. They only made it because Deadpool is massively popular (He's not worth all the hype in my opinion), and they broke DeathBattle because Deadpool literally can't die. It was unfair to begin with putting someone like Deathstroke (Who could only incapacitate Deadpool for a long time) against someone who Marvel gave immortality and the most broken healing factor of all time. I've always been a DC fan admittedly because at least when they make these powerhouse heroes and villains, they still make them vulnerable to something; unlike Marvel who makes most of their heroes downright perfect.
If you like dance fighting, Ris, then you'd love to watch capoeira! It's basically a martial art with incorporated music and acrobatics, plus the when the masters fight each other it looks impressive as all hell.

Death Battle’s rules caused this battle to be extremely one sided. He could have his teleportation belt despite him having given it up earlier. The fact this is a fight to a death and Slade has no method of killing Deadpool caused him to lose. Though in any other fight Slade would likely notice how fast Deadpool is healing and attempt a non-lethal takedown.

It takes Deadpool 13 minutes for his entire head to fully regenerate.
Now I want to see Captain America VS Deathstroke, since they are so very similiar.

Honestly, I believe it could have gone either way, BUT this was a miss-call. Deadpool is over confidence would probably let Deathstroke get the sword and with Deadpool announcing all of his tactics before hand, realized that the sword probably work on Deadpool. Deathstroke is much smarter than Deadpool, and that would be that.
At that point he was in a blind rage so he wasn't thinking smart at all, also DP didn't even need the sword to end him as his healing factor just repairs damage, it wouldn't replace his entire head. With prep Deathstroke could have killed him but Death Battle doesn't allow that so in terms of Death Battle rules, there was no way for Death Stroke to win.

Did anyone else notice that before Deathstroke was stabbed by his own sword, he was actually holding it in his left hand? This raises the question: how the hell did Deadpool get the sword within less than a second? I know the satchel allows him to pull things out of nowhere, regardless of shape and size, but I doubt its ability to pull something out that someone else is currently holding! Don't get me wrong: I enjoyed the battle, its just that scene that puzzles me
What gets me is that everyone complains that the whole deadpool kills the entire marvel universe is non-canon IT DOESNT MATTER WHAT MATTERS IS THAT DEADPOOL CAN DO JUST THAT IF HE WERE TO JUST SNAP FOR NO FRICKIN REASON

The thing with this battle is that Deathstroke and Deadpool are so alike but the edge to Deadpool is that he heals faster than Wolverine who in a marvel dc crossover it was 0.4 seconds faster than Deathstrokes.
I were happy regarding this battle. I think they could have done more with Deathstroke than they showed but it wouldn't have effected outcome regardless and they clearly did focus more on Deadpool in terms of comedy. Not surprising but they could have been more just about it, still - I'm okay with this.
Ris! Just an idea I have, how about you watch a one minute melee in the same video of the death battle. I know that a lot of people want you to react to them, but they are only 1-3 minutes long. What about reacting to a one minute melee, then reacting to the death battle (in the same video).

However, Deadpool and Deathstrike have the same level of regeneration capabilities. The only way Deadpool was able to win this fight was by using his cheat-sword to kill Deathstrike. Othwise, this battle would have been Chuck vs Jesus all over again.

I fucking love Deathstroke! Mainly, because Teen Titans was a huge part of my childhood and, I still love it to this day! Therefore, I hated Deadpool and, always told people that Deathstroke would win. Not only did this Death Battle prove me wrong but, it also made me like Deadpool alot! I loved his banter during the episode. Although, I will always choose Deathstroke over Deadpool I have new found respect for him!

i don't think you could be disappointed with the results of the deathbattle. Deadpool was just that funny and enjoyable of a character in the deathbattle. I was correct with my prediction as to who would win the deathbattle.
