The song is okay.
It sounds a bit to much like a boy band.
I'm neutral to it. No thumbs up or down. It's worth listening to a few times, but I would not go out of my way to search for it.

I think the only thing I really like is the chorus. It reminds me of an 80s sort of feel melody wise and reminds me of a song from that era, I jut can't think of it the top of my head. I just don't; like the verse and especially the lyrics. I get why some might find it one direction 2.0.

too bad they're continuing the there is only you route. too poppy/borderline cheesy for me, prefer the heartfeltness of their debut and the dirty/darker experimentation of that follow-up. do wish them well tho, genuine good guys. will give the album a chance anyway
i respect your opinion but this song is just perfection! Also, this doesn't sound very diff from their original songs to me
This track may be more accessible - but I don't think the guys have
sacrificed any of their trademark hooks, writing talent or (yawn)
credibility.
It's very hard writing a song of this type to this calibre
(with both pop sensibilities and genuine catchy-ness) - so kudos to The
Xcerts (again) Hopefully they get the recognition they have grafted for
and deserve.
