It Is Your Life - a Charles Bukowski Poem

- Every Charles Bukowski poem deserves a film. This one is no different. Based on “No Leaders Please” I created my own cinematic version.
Some of you may have already seen my other film called “All The Way” which is also based on a Bukowski poem. I was fortunate to receive a Vimeo Staff Pick for this one plus lots of great reactions from people all over the world.
Again I mixed the talents of Tom O’Bedlam (voice) and Tony Anderson (music).
Thanks also to the gifted Dutch actor Richard de Maaré.

coming from a dark place these words sent me into a weeping motion. My lack of morality and motivation needed some inspiration and dignifying words that help me evaluate the cost of my actions. To love myself is to create purpose. And that matters above all else. I appreciate your creativity and time to this video.
