Yeah I befriended wondernyan before it stopped working and after it stopped working I thought it was about my save file but it wasn't so now i can't complete my medalium in other files glad I didn't delete the wondernyan file ;-;
I tried to befriend wondernyan when the update came out my friend said i couldn't befriend him anymore so rip

Yeah, they really need to fix the moonstone problem. However, I’ve discovered another problem. Even though I have played with white dog squad 247 times, I can’t get the popularity boost or the 10x oni orb boost. I can get the invisibility aura, but not some below it or above it! Do you know what’s happening leafy?
You can't get the popularity or 3X oni orbs auras in either file.
Yeah, they really need to update the game. If they don’t, I can’t be certain that I’ll buy all 3 versions of yo Kai watch 3
I imagine they’ll get rid of the dream Watch functionality, therefore making impossible to get the seven lucky gods...
That was apparently a mess up in translation they meant to say streetpass people for those so it is possible to get them

This frustrates me more then anything in the world. Why bother to localize a game when there's problems you don't wanna fix? Usually I don't care for 100%-ing any games but knowing how serious of a gamer I am in this category, now I'm a little upset.

to see that your replying to comments from under a year ago despite this video coming out a whole 4 years ago is amazing, its incredible how genuine and deticated you are to this franchise despite that fact that itll probably never see the light of day outside japan but your one of the few that still hold hope (so do i) i really hope this franchise comes back from the dead as well as this game soecifically... its easily my favorite 3ds game

I’m honestly insanely upset, I had Psychic Specters, I spent hours on it trying to 100% it, I even pulled all nighters for it, then I lost my SD card, I was upset I couldn’t 100% complete it, and only to realize it was impossible all along, I’m actually sad. Then they released Blasters, I was excited and thought, “I will 100% complete Blasters no matter what!” Then I have to realize that I can’t complete Blasters no matter how hard I try... I’m really sad, in fact I was collecting moonstones while watching this. And this isn’t the only thing, the friends only option doesn’t work, you can’t make the superstar soul anymore, horrible text errors that even I wouldn’t make, and so many glitches, Level-5 will probably never fix these things either, I hope and PRAY that none of this happens in Yo-Kai Watch 3, it’s my favorite game of all time, and if there’s stuff like this that could’ve been fixed with just a bit more time and effort in that game, I’ll probably never enjoy a Yo-Kai Watch game the same. Please Level-5, fix your game. And thank you Leafy for this. There was one stream where the official Yo-Kai Watch channel was watching and even chatting in the comments, I hope they watch this and fix there mistakes, or at least learn from them.
You CAN make the Superstar Soul! Just not more than 2 or the game crashes and gets once locked up if you load it again after that. Trying to load it a 3rd time the game somewhat corrects itself enough to let you play it again, but the glitch is still there.

I know I late but in dimmy's shop you can buy all the shougon kings items and you can buy moon stones to
I only count 100% as befriending every yo-kai. Call me a chicken but some of those trophies are really tough to get especially in 2. Also you have a point. I am kinda worried if they'll remove the sangokushi yo-kai, I'm 90% sure that Nyaaminator, Wibblenyan and Wobblesan, and the Final Fantasy yo-kai are safe

With Whisped Cream and Mega Whisped Cream replacing Whismellowman(ans his Mega Yo-kai counterpart).
There’s a bug in blasters where some people who try to trade yokai mid-trade they get a message saying trade successful but then their save file is corrupted and they can’t play it.
Is there anyway we can bring this matter to them I’m surprised we’re even getting 3 And i think they just want to be finished with yokai watch in the west it’s not selling and nothing they do increases sales it’s super sad if it was worth fixing these problems I think they would have by now but it seems there rushing the last games out I don’t want to think we won’t get anymore yokai watch but it’s obvious they just don’t care anymore
I don't know if anyone will see this and it's probably already in this comments section, but as of November 2018 Level-5 has fixed the Iron Oni Force problem in Yo-Kai Watch Blasters. They have not fixed Yo-Kai Watch 2's music bug as of 2021 though.

Sorry, I can't check myself as my 3ds with Blasters downloaded is in storage, but in the description for 2.4 they have stated "new items have been added to the Dimmy Shop". Additionally, on their tweet when the official Yo-Kai Watch twitter released the patch, most people thanked them for making the game 100%able. So I assume they did the exact fix said in the video and added Moonstones as well as the Ultra Shogun King items to the shop.

Now that I know this, I might as well stop playing. What am I missing? Pink Emperor and maybe being able to craft another moonstone equip in a few months when they decide to officially release him? Even if they release him today, how much more playtime would we get? 5 minutes if we want to get the moonstone? If only we could trade equipments and souls and not just yo-kai. That way we could at least use our 2nd and 3rd file(with the help of a friend) to gather all the equipments that need moonstones(and the 4 members drops from shogun king) and transfer them to our main file.

I was already planning on starting anew in PS (still haven’t gotten it) since my file in Fleshy got more or less corrupted, but I didn’t know it was going to end up THAT bad...yikes.
By corrupted I mean: the Wondernyan I had unlocked and not yet befriended stopped responding after an SD card issue, a Trophy no longer properly prints its own data (and never did beforehand; it displays the text of the one above it)...there’s probably a lot more that’s wrong with my file that I’ve yet to find, and it honestly worries me.
So the music app is still busted in YW2:PS, over 5 years later!?

Just to throw it out there, if the international version was able to get stuff like Moonstones from the Dimmy Shop, then it would have the reverse problem, it would be inherently better than the original version.
Since let's say in 10 years, the Iron Oni arcade cabinets would no longer be available, meaning Japanese players would be screwed.
Just saying this is a problem inherent with the entire structure of the game, not just for localization.

The purpose of a game is to have all its content played. If that can't be done, to me, it is broken.

Wait..Last year I got on ykw2 in the afternoon and talked to Wondernyn to have more attemps to befriend him. But he said "It seems you haven't earned the right to fight me yet." then he said something about the SD card. I was VERY UPSET.
For all of two people who read this in 2021 (or later, I don't care) this video is now entirely redundant seeing as they added the ability to buy Moonstones, Cat King baubles, Cat king gauntlets, and all the materials of your respective golden diety, So it's possible... if I can figure out how to get Ultra Red paws stuff in RCC

Have you seen the bug that I put up on the Yokai watch reddit where I befriended an Employee while playing Super Hinozall Awoken? It’s not game breaking, but it’s definitely part of the massive list of bugs in this game.

It registers as pandle, but not really. The medal sets in the upper left corner of the bottom screen, but you don’t get pandle or Employee in your reserves.

You know what’s an even bigger problem? The clock during patrols. Patrols are 10 minutes shorter than normal missions, but the red digit on the clock is still on the 30 minutes spot like on missions, so I thought that the mission clock just goes faster and the time is still up as soon as it reaches 30 minutes, but no, we’re supposed to rethink and see that the time is up at the non existing digit on the 20 minutes spot. I just got 4 Yo Kai in patrol and lost due to this stupid mistake

Unfortunately, this is FAR from the first time that localized versions of a game had content cut from the original Japanese version. Hey, at least it only affects 100%-ing the game, and only revolves around items and equipment as opposed to quests and obtainable Yo-kai. They could have pulled a stunt of making certain Yo-kai Japan-exclusive by going in, removing them from the Medallium in the localizations, then purposely breaking the data for those Yo-kai in the localizations so that if the player hacked them into their party, the game would crash when they tried to use them. (Looking at YOU, Megaman Battle Network 6.)
I've never send my file to psychic specters but the music glitch was there just when I save enough cards to get Mckrakens 2nd theme

I believe their was a bug where in Bony Spirits and Fleshy Souls where you could get a train pass where you will never need to spend money to ride the train. When I transferred my data to Psychic Specters the pass was gone and I couldn’t do the quest again. This is really dumb since I really like the train and now I will always have to use money to ride the train because of a stupid bug.
I think you lent it to Shogunyan and never went to see him.

I hope we do get another update, not just this, but also to fix issues with soul craftering. If you don’t know, if you craft (as far as Ik it’s only the superstar soul) when you craft the game crashes and you are unable to get the soul unless you already crafted it before moon rabbit crew. It doesn’t delete any of your save data but considering how it’s more difficult technically to befriend yo kai unlike a main game due to lack of say feeding, it’s kinda a big thing imo
No, crafting it a third time triggers that glitch. I crafted my first one in Moon Rabbit Crew I believe, and it didn't crash.

Blasters, easiest and I do mean easiest fix is what you said PUT IT IN THE SHOP!
For YW3, since copyrights just remove them or do not count them for completion since they can get them later. It will not be easy because they would all have to be moved to another page where slots are added as we get them but you know that way we can still get them via legit means later and not hinder our 100%.
For the Iron Oni again, add a NPC who sells the items. Make it Damona!
I’m miffed about how much our DJ KJ songs suck. Im so tired of international versions either not even made or have substantive content missing. I don’t know if this happens to games on other consoles, but it’s so common for Nintendo. We also miss out on merchandise and hardware that requires expensive imports that are limited in supply.
YKW is the biggest case of butchering I've seen in a long time on any big series on any console, excluding anything NISA touches since they're just general bad quality on whatever they touch.

Maybe said Koma Battle Machine could use Golden Eggs(of varying amounts)& Ultra Orbs as payment to use. Also using U. Captain Thunder Orbs would have a chance of Moonstones being a prize(that chance increasing the more players you are playing against).

They added the items Leafy suggested to the Dimmy Shop, and they added your version exclusive Gold boss drops, as well as Ultra Baubles and Gauntlets.

Leafy, I want to see a Boss Soul Video. Are you working on it, and if you aren’t, can you start to work on it? I want to know what they do, and which are good.
I’ll give you a list of them all right below here (yes i know this is late reply but whatever):
Gargaros soul: Evasion will avoid foe’s attacks more easily. Super bad soul, dodging has invincibility now.
Gutsy Bones soul: HP restores steadily while charging a move. Bad soul, you could be using a better one because the skill is on Hellhound bauble.
Hino Awoken soul: Placed Traps will not hit allies. Amazing if you main Gutsy Bones. Though it is on Hardy Hound’s skill, he’s a bad yo kai.
Orcanos soul: Attack (offense stat and spirit stat) will increase with higher DEF. Amazing for any Tank with high DEF. I have it on Starry Noko, as he has the highest DEF and isn’t a Tank (plus he has 21 HP at level 99 so this is kinda a given). 🤣
Swirlious Omai soul: Same skill as Red Paws soul. Drop foe attack by attacking, and lasts while attacking. Good on support units.
Whisped Cream soul: Slows down move meter loss. Only good for Rangers with “hold down a button for longer effect” moves.
Robonyan 28 soul: Speeds up move charge time. Amazing on any character with “charge longer for greater effect” moves.
SV Snaggerjag soul: Everyone’s speed is increased. Pretty meh.
Hoggles soul: Friend chance is easier. Again, meh.
Sproink soul: Increased chance of materials dropping from bosses. Amazing if you’re too lazy to grind for Odysseynyan.
McKraken soul: Speed up when attacking. Lasts while attacking. Awesome for slow attackers.
Kat Kraydel soul: Move meter charges when attacked, lasts while being attacked. Not very good for late game players.
Hardy Hound soul: Here is Shogunyan’s passive skill, in a soul. Attack up when attacking, lasts while attacking. Amazing for ANY physical attacker with the Moon Shadow equipped that doesn’t have this as a skill.
Glitzy Bones soul: Here’s the Moon Shadow’s passive skill in a soul. Drop foe defense while attacking, lasts while attacking. This is godlike for any character with the “Seeing Red” skill (which is “Attack up while attacking, lasts while attacking”), along with an Oni Smasher Sky.
Styx Mk. 6 soul: Attack increases with remaining HP. Bad soul for anyone not running Arachnevil.
Slimamander soul: STR increases with higher SPR. Good for Fighters with an equal mix of both (Starry Noko, looking at you).
Devourer soul: Slows down ascension speed for all allies (meaning more time to defeat the boss and then revive allies).
Wobblewok soul: Increases AOE for moves. Meh.
Ogralus soul: SPR increases with higher STR. Good for Fighters with an equal mix of both (Starry again, he’s just the best all around unit).
Mass Mutterer soul: Increases trap placement speed. This, combined with Hardy Hound (not Gutsy because he doesn’t have Hino Awoken soul’s skill on him) is going to be the ultimate trap skillset.
Red Paws soul: The same as Swirlious Omai’s soul. Drop foe attack while attacking, lasts while attacking. See Swirlious Omai’s soul section for details.
Demuncher soul: Enhances effect of guarding. Good for Tanks with only base guard.
Kabuking soul: All stats up 3 minutes after mission starts. Wasted slot in time attack.
Hinozall soul: Increases power of moves set to X. Meh.
Eyedra soul: All stats up when alone. Only good on solo runs.
Goldy Bones soul: Temporarily go into secrecy when in danger. Bad.
Captain Thunder soul: Here is USApyon B’s skill, in a soul. Higher chance for crits based on greater distance. Amazing for Jibanyan B and Komasan B. Meh on others.
Golden Claws soul: Can endlessly loop A button attacks. Kabuking should take this.
Zazel soul: Massive attack increase when HP is down to 1. Amazing on Arachnevil.
Shogun King soul: Don’t attack for 15 seconds to make your next attack a critical hit. Great on big hitters like Bison Burly, he can have the same Crit Punch as Kintaronyan.
Robonyan 3000 soul: Bigger stat boost the more foes are targeting you. This is Kabuking’s skill. Good for Tanks.
Lastly, we have Swirlious Gold’s soul: Avoid enemy attacks every now and then. Pretty meh.
Edit: OMG I FORGOT DAME DEDTIME :p Well, Dame Dedtime soul: Negative inspirits last longer on everyone. If you use this, every Ally’s negative inspirits will last longer on an enemy. EVERYONE’S.

I just thought, what about if you have both versions of the game? Get all the moonstones available from the 6 save files you have, craft the equipment and trade it over with it equiped on a yokai to the version you want it in? It would be very time consuming and most likely not worth it, but as far as I know, it would work.

This is so sad. I REALLY hope, that they put a lot of effort into yokai watch 3. If not... well, then it's gonna suck.
Heres the thing...If this doesn’t get fixed for Yo-Kai Watch 3....then Yo-Kai Watch will likely die in america. Losing level 5 a lot of money. Even if it is then finally patched. The fanbase will have just moved on to playing the japanese versions and doing fan translations.
