I played in the Missoula, MT Hellgate high school band with him in 1967--he was incredible then!!!!!
My respect to the Trumpet Soloists...they made it look easy...

Those two referees came bumbling in having absolutely no idea who these guys are.
And tell me that some of these band members weren't part of the bluedevils..
Some pretty strong trumpet playing in the band.
I was fortunate to be in the band (graduated in 1986) and there were a lot of corps players, Blue Devils and SCV. We had a great time!
