A million $ ring shouldn't break no matter what you do to it.
I agree. That's what cheap rings do. If it broke like that it's not worth all that money. Paying that kind of money for a ring you should be able to run over with a car and still be good. Sounds like they saw him coming and sold him a cheap ring.
Idk if you have any knowledge of jewellery. But the more pure gold is, the softer it gets. If the stones are set in very fine claws, the weight of a person can definitely bend these. So silly.
If you wanted something you can run over, you would buy a steel ring with no stones. A delicate diamond ring on a thin gold or platinum band is not in anyway designed to be weight bearing.
I was thinking the same thing. There’s not much weight on her and if she was barefoot… doesn’t make sense. 🤷♀️
You obviously don't own expensive jewelry cause if you did, you'd realize how delicate they are.

I work for a jewelry company we sell engagement rings and I can 100% confirm this is true lol. Gold is not strong. Gold is weak. The metal you decide to get has everything to do with it. I assume he got her 24K gold. I’m sure Travis wouldn’t do 14k or 18k - they’re rich. But yeah the higher the gold content, the more delicate they are. That’s why I recommend 14k to people. I personally don’t think it’s worth getting 24k for it to be more delicate. But it is in fact more valuable.

@@dianedeferrari3888 actually it is true- depending on the metal, usually the higher the price means that its a more pure than its cheaper counterparts. higher purity levels means that there are no other metal mixed in to solidify it further, making it softer and therefore much easier to break.
