Liverpool were missing Gomez badly. Lovren was awful. They were probably missing Henderson in midfield too. They seemed to be saving their energy for the Chelsea FA cup game. Southampton didn't play Danny Ings for some reason which gave West Ham a boost. Chelsea see above, same as Liverpool but slightly better as they found an equaliser near the end.
Before Friday, Norwich were 7 points from safety, now they're 6, so that win DID mean something, just not as much as we would have liked.
Lewis72 If you look at it like that, then before the weekend we were 10 points behind Brighton in 15th or whatever, but now we are just 7 points behind them!

Southampton didn't play Danny Ings against West Ham. He wasn't injured as he came on near the end. That says it all! Also Liverpool didn't play Gomez. Not sure if he was injured or not but they have the cup game against Chelsea in the week.

Iam not a fan of VAR but season after season we had to listen to prem managers constantly wining about how the ref cost them points, not helped by pundits who spend hours watching and re watching incidents in slow motion, reverse angle etc then lambasting refs for getting it wrong. They have brought this on us and I have no sympathy for the likes of Rogers and others who now protest at VAR decisions.
