- In this ground report, we delve into the lives of the Savar tribe, a Particularly Vulnerable Tribal Group (PVTG) in Jharkhand, India. Despite being recognized as a marginalized community, the Savar tribe is facing severe challenges that threaten their very existence.
Our team travelled to the East Singhbhum district of Jharkhand, where we witnessed firsthand the grim conditions in which the Savar people are living. Malnutrition has emerged as a pressing concern, afflicting both children and adults. The lack of access to nutritious food has resulted in stunted growth, weakened immune systems, and a multitude of health problems.
Tragically, the Savar tribe is experiencing a negative population growth rate. Factors such as poverty, limited healthcare facilities, and inadequate educational opportunities contribute to their struggle. The detrimental effects of alcohol addiction have also taken a toll on the community, further exacerbating their already dire situation.

माफी चाहूंगा श्याम जी यह सब केवल सरकारी योजना पे आश्रित रहना चाहता है यह सब काम करने से दूरी बनाते हैं।यह सब अपने पैर पे खुद खुलाड़ी मारते हैं काम की कमी नही परन्तु यह सब को केवल सरकारी योजना का लाभ चाहिए।
