How long are the readings valid for? Can you still accept the result after the strip has dried for example 30 mins later?

I can't visibly see the blood though. No symptoms I'm 38.
I would totally check in with your doctor and see if they recommend any further workup...

What if it is not right
Every time I check at home on my own my Leukocytes are 500+++ so I mentioned it to my doctor and he asked for a sample right then and there in his office, his back was to the nurse and she dipped the strips in and pulled out three it in the garbage and said it was normal she didn't even look at it, his back was to her so he doesn't know . She did not even wait the two minutes so he came back in to the examining room saying well it all looks good now your test was negative and here I am at home still testing daily and still positive 500+++ results and extremely fatigued, I don't know what to do so I started taking photo's of my strips using my cell phone so I can show my doctor next time I see him. His nurse didn't even look at the strip but I didn't want to start anything in the office between her and the doctor. I am not well often though. What should I do? is 500+++ serious , i don't have Nitrites.
that's really interesting. you should prob go get a second opinion if they are truly doing that with the test strips. ..

What if all the other boxes are normal and the only one positive is leukocytes? Does that still indicate a UTI? I have to wait over a month to see a urologist, so I was just wondering to have an idea what that means..
urine culture is more definitive. i'd check in with a walk in urgent care. they can send off a urine.
Did you ever get an answer? I am in the Same situation where i am getting positive for leukocytes and nothing else . Planning to see a urologist as well

Just wondering, are we not also looking for protein in a UTI as well as the three you highlighted?
I usually don't pay that much attention to protein for UTI. It tends not to be as a reliable indicator. although it can sometimes be high when patients have a UTI, but normal when they don't...

Leukocytes seem to be measured as “ca cells/ul” (as noted on the dip stick keys). What does the “ca” stand for? Cancer??? Can these decrease without having cancer?
And what does moderate mean for leukocytes? Is that for numbers or size of cells?

You can just look under a microscope. I wish someone was showing people how to look under microscopes for health problems.
