I agree with you about the Gucci East West. Don't care for East West bags in any brand. Don't care for shearling either. How could you keep it clean?
Totally totally agree on getting bags that securely close and fit my stuff.
The Gucci is for sure in my wish list, I was kinda in the fence about the pink one but there’s a lot of positive feedback about them.

Hi Stephi, I got the YLS le 5 a 7 Hobo for Christmas and I am super happy with it. This bag is a kind of a miracle, despite the small size fits a ton of stuff including a small umbrella or bottle of water. The opening can be a concern but 1) depends on the country you live or pretend to use and 2) using under your arms can help with feeling secure. Mine is the Dusty Grey version.
I bought the go-14 a few months ago and lovin it! Mine’s in the navy and it’s so beautiful. I dont know why so many ppl are hating on it
I love my Go-14 as well … in the same color way as Steph’s. Let the haters hate… these bags are gorgeous and much more user friendly than a Chanel medium flap since we can wear it top handle or cross body. I sold my classic flap after I got this beauty!
I love it too! It’s a polarizing bag, people seem to love it or hate it. I got the ombré black malletage Alma, and the champagne blush go14mm is the only thing I’m eyeing in 2024 ❤️❤️

That Star bag looks like it’s for toddlers. I’m so turned by Chanel lately. Won’t consider anything pre-2019. And the newest Horsebit will go the way of the Dior Vibe. Heavily influenced but consumers won’t buy it.
What do you think of the Louis Vuitton Capucines mini black with folded charms on top?
I am tempting to go for the Celine 16 as next purchase. What is the real difference you can say or felt about inner size on a day to day basis between the small and mini sizes?appreciate the mini comes in a broader color way.

Happy New Year! I prefer a EW bag because I feel you can access your items better and can organize it easier, but can understand your preference for a more square bag. I am with you on most of your assessments, but the Celine 16 bag to me is not pretty. I think it might be the placement of the hardware or the curvature of the flap, I can’t get on board with it but it might grow on me. Totally agree on the Gucci horsebit bag, I think it’s too wide, if it were more compact it might be palatable. Here’s to a great 2024!

The Loewe squeeze bag in the size small is on my maybe list. I saw another YT with it in an olive color and it is beautiful.
I like the way you explain the bags and I love your style and videos.
I bought the small squeeze in olive and I LOVED it but I exchanged for the Puzzle tote as the lamb leather on the squeeze is SO delicate. I was so worried that it would be damaged or dirty very soon. The puzzle tote is calf leather and i am not worried to take it somewhere

I got the small djoy recently and omggg it is pretty. It fits my phone, keys, earbuds, cardholder and 2 lip sticks and the flap kinda secures it. I know theres a lot of hate on the east-west bags but i personally prefer them. I never like the square lady dior but immediately love the djoy. I thought about it and saving over 1year for it and now that i got it, no regrets.

Must have a top handle, need to be able to wear crossbody and generally I want a back pocket. Love my Business Affinity’s and Chanel 19’s. They check all the boxes.
I saw a pink sterling JW Pei bag in Fenwick for £100 which I thought looked cute & fun but thought £100 was too much. I then saw it in the Black Friday sale at a big discount & got it. Love it, its fun! And similar size & shape to the Gucci sherling, i think. Much better to buy a cheap fun bag than expensive designer.

I agree with the channel starfish bag...reminds me too much of Patrick from "SpongeBob". The fit, layout and symmetry ( although may be appealing for some) just gives comical vibes . Still love channel bags and this won't deter me

Well in my case I buy the bag that has both 😊 a practical bag that makes my heart sing 😅 there are so many bags in the market that I always have a problem when it's time buy cause if money wasn't an issue I would buy several in the same day 😂😂 Agree with you about all of these... I have the Chanel bag and not all of them have both the CC and then Chanel on it. The one I have is not metallic and it’s actually really easy to get into. It’s actually funny though because I think the Gucci iridescent is hideous so we have opposite tastes but I still love your channel.

Celine 16 is completely different to Dior Saddle 😅 I love the medium size but not the mini. It looks best as shoulder bag. I don't use the strap
Yes looks wise they are quite different, but in terms of size the Celine 16 is a much better shaped bag than the saddle to be more useful.

But the YSL Hobo bag fits perfectly under your arm …. There’s no way anyone can put their hands in the bag! It feels perfectly secure 😊
At first look the Loewe 'Squeeze' section of the strap looks odd, but it probably feels great. 🤔For the record, I love your puffy LV. I don't care for the look or impracticality of the Dior Saddle bag. 'No' for me re the LV George's bag. But that's just me. I don't like the Birkin either. And 'no' to east/west Capucine. The Lowe bag falls off my shoulders too easily, so not the most practical as the roundness off the handle delivers little grip on that area. especially with a coat on:)

The Chanel star bags looks like it belongs on the top of a Christams tree, at least here in the US. You are smart to avoid it.
Also a Capucine girlie and do not like their EW version. Interesting to see you would put a baguette in the same category as EW LD. I love classic baguettes and do not like the EWLD I hadn’t even noticed how similarly shaped they are isn’t it funny, thanks for pointing out 😂 think I am just not a fan of the LD since your whole fiasco and the use-ability getting in and out the bag etc anyway.

NO, you're not being too harsh on the Gucci horsebit bag. I do like the black leather one, but those shearling ones are hideous. They look like the bag you'd get for your daughter in 7th grade. I could see those bags making a splash at middle school. The Chanel star bag is just as bad, it's something you'd purchase your 12 year old daughter.

Only 7?! There are soooo many ugly brand name bags out there. Although YSl tends to outshine the rest for me. It's so weird for me to see men wearing handbags like women, but I think Europeans and Asians do. I'm a minimalist, have none of those bags. Of all your bags there, I like the tan one, the others don't compare.
I’m reallyyy starting to dislike Chanel bags. They do the stupidest colors and slap on some cheap looking emblems and call it a day. It looks from a black market and people 1000’s of dollars. Where is the class?
