Hi Steph, I've been watching your video's for some time now. I love what you do. If I may i would advice you to sell all the 20 bags you've put separate. It will give you more joy and peace knowing that something else will replace them that will bring you so much more joy and happiness.

Lovely bags!! The older I get I tend to get more practical. Two things I look at is 1) if they don’t close on top it’s a no go. (An exception is carry-all tote).
2) if it’s heavy 👎
I know people who make over 200k a year but they only buy *condupcom* . No one would question their bag because of their profession, so why spend thousands on the same bag? It's so refreshing to see people spending their money wisely.

And sometimes you just need to ripp the bandaid bc some bags just don't hold their value.
I bought a LV messenger bag (2004/2007 era) at *condupcom* a few years ago. I took it to the LV store in my town last week to have it repaired. A store clerk inspected my bag and immediately told me that the bag was of excellent quality. She pulled a current bag out of inventory and compared the tags and I saw ZERO differences.
When buying luxury goods, it really depends on your own spending power. I don’t think it matters whether it’s genuine or fake. I often carry the fake goods I bought on *hotdups* to various counters, but the counter lady didn’t notice that they were fake. He also asked me if it was the latest model I just bought from here.
Sell everything in the Maybe pile....no point keeping bags if u aren't 100% in love with them

Love your videos, and this comment has nothing to do with your sale - but your hanging bags are concerning me. While hanging a bag with chain straps is a good idea for the shape of the bottom of the bag, it's putting 24/7 strain on the rings/leather at the top of the bag - and gravity is not our friend when it comes to skin in general. Consider hanging the chain but adjusting the bag hanger, so the bottom of the bag is sitting on the shelf and there's slack in the chains - this will help keep the top of the bag from suffering unneeded strain whilst keeping the chain in good condition. Unsolicited advice, I know, but it will extend the life of the bag.
Hello, may i ask your expert opinion about storing the bags? I store them in my cupboard, they are out of the box, so they have some air, and I have gel sachets around and I keep hardware covered too and the lock unlocked and I keep them standing. Do I get things right 😊 ?
LOL I'm no expert, but I'm 46 and I've learned the hard way... Depends on a few things 1) as long as there's airflow and it's not particularly wet where you live then a cupboard is fine (I live in a very dry climate and have my bags out in the air like Steph's here, with a bit of added humidity in the air) and you say you're protecting your hardware? Does that mean you are leaving the plastic on them? The problem with that, is the longer you leave the plastic on the more likely it'll leave residue and I left plastic on the Medusa head of a Fendace bag, that that was a HUGE mistake as it left goop on the focal point of the bag. I think as long as you remove the plastic, keep the bags stuffed with something (purse pillows are ideal but an unnecessary expense when tissue paper works as well), and use hangers like Steph's for chain bags, but don't have them actually hang, your bags should last and last regardless of brand. I hope this helps!
Oh and I wouldn't have gel sachets around if they're scented...IF you go to sell the bag and it's perfume-y scented you might find that difficult, as some people don't like what you think smells good (again I learn this the hard way)
Agree. If you hang your bag, Make sure the bottom of the bag touches the “floor” this way, the straps do not dent the bag, and you do not put strain on the hanging bag. that’s why the hanger is adjustable. I only hang flat bags (like a falabella bag) or bags with heavy chains. Good luck on your sale, Stephanie! 🥰😍🥰
Agreed, I worked for luxury brands as a leather specialist and all I wanted to do watching this was adjust the bags on the stands to save the handles.

I know wealthy women who carry replicas. The main reason they gave is that they just understand the value of money and don't want to spend too much money on bags...so more people choose fashionable ex-Luxcon bags. However, they do spend a lot of money on fine jewelry and other things *hotdups* .

You are so close to 100k! Your hard work is paying off! I have two LV 35s I use for travel, but more and more, I'm reaching for good old MZ Wallace with a trolley sleeve. They are lightweight and ever-so-practical. "Function" is winning over "form" when I travel these days! I'm with you on the LV. I'm getting ready to part with both of mine. I just don't use them anymore. Get rid of the ones you don't love. You can do it!
Keep the Keepall! Such a great piece of luggage with a different purpose the to gorgeous red Ferragamo. And so expensive to rebuy new.

I love replicas because I really just want the look and not the price tag. But when I wore them, it wasn't worth the money to me, and after a year I stopped wearing them *hotdups* .

Excellent video! Very impressive knowledge base. Wonderfully edited and organized. I have a suggestion, I know you have all the bags listed and linked but wonder if adding the bags info as text on the screen as you present it would help the viewer identify their favorites and make purchase requests. Had the brown 19. Sold it recently. I also have the go14 and preferred to the 19. I felt the 19 in the larger size was looking flat. I put the money away and am using it to fund another bag.

I am just partway through watching your video… A beautiful collection. One comment about your LV neverfull that you placed on the bottom shelf in your closet. It looks as if you have an organizer on the inside of it. I have watched videos before where people learn the hard way that that’s not a great idea when storing the bag. The top side of the organizer will end up leaving a permanent crease around that part of the bag. What I do is stuff the bottom part of the bag and place the organizer on top of that stuffing so that it reaches the top of the bag when I store it. Just a thought.

Steph - if you're willing to sell our toffee caramel Demellier London (London style with triangle not Vancouver) bag, I'd love it! I cannot find that style or color on their site (or anyone else!) anymore or I can only find it in black.
Unpopular opinion but I would sell all 20 and the 2 slgs you mentioned. Cutting back a bunch allows you to have a more curated collection and enjoy what you have more. It is counter intuitive but works. Having too much you don't use or adore is stressful. I would keep the keepall and sherling bag just to see if you used them once everything was sold and you had a more refined selection. Like do they fit in or not. Then you can sell or not.

I am curious why the Prada Cahier isn’t worn often. Seems like the strap is too long for a shoulder and too short for a cross-body… is that fair to say?

If it isn’t , would you say it is the type of handbag that should be sought on the preloved market? I NEED it. I am in a bad way health wise and require crossbody bags that are not too heavy. I unfortunately don’t live near a boutique and can’t try on so I am trying to ask around if people would recommend this or another one in my situation . I have had a not so good experience buying from an online Preloved site in the USA. HELP! :)
