Handmade leather boots

Chaparro boots on the 1545 last. 5”1/2 high, fully lined with an oak tanned leather liner, leather shank, a half dr sole super grip and made out of Horween brown Chromexcel. Thanks to the gentleman from the UK for his order.

Hi mate, any chance you could tell me what's the temper of the sole leather you are using and where I could get it from, please? I'm in the process of making my first boots, but the leather I've got is like concrete.... Yours seem much softer than mine, I've broken two needles trying to make holes to connect sole with the upper. Thanks in advance and fantastic job, mate

great video! i like that you don't prestack the heels and the proper handwelting! also a nice trick is to heat the needles and bend them to the same curve as the welting awl ;)
