Just came across your channel when I typed in: “coolest mandolin.” I knew I had to subscribe when you played that 2 fingered Am! I discovered that on my own, cause it’s not in any online dictionary I’ve ever seen. I use it when I play “Under the Milky Way” by the Church. It’s not a mandolin song, but works really well: that Am, then lift the 1st finger (E) to open the (D) a Dm6?, then standard F and finally G. Looking forward to trying all these tunes. Thanks for being here!
The song that made me want a mandolin! Me and me friend learned it together with him in acoustic. I love the outri riff especially. I catch myself doing a little jig to it. I would really love it if you did a video for Moondance. I love that song but I just can't seem to get the melody right. .
Why would anyone bother to tattoo a rose..? When summer's over, the petals will fall off and some lummox will invariably step on all your hard work... ;-)
