Das Hurricane findet seit 1997 am 3. oder 4. Wochenende im Juni auf dem Eichenring und auf den umliegenden landwirtschaftlichen Flächen in Scheeßel und Westervesede statt. Der Eichenring selbst ist eine ca. 1.000m lange Sandbahn, auf welcher jährlich internationale Motorrad-Sandbahnrennen ausgetragen werden. Mit weit über 70.000 Besuchern zählt das Festival zu den größten Musikfestivals in Deutschland. Das Hurricane Festivals präsentiert mehr als 80 Bands auf 4 Bühnen mit einer Mischung aus Rock, Alternative, Pop und Electro, wobei neben etablierten Stars auch Neulinge zum Zuge kommen.

In my personal top 5 and so happy I've seen Dropkick a few times live. We're all getting older now but this song touches me like nobody's business. Wow ... Talent is not even the right word. What a fantastic beautifully written and amazingly constructed song. These performers are pouring their heart and soul into this. That's more than entertainment, this is more like a time stamp which you may later reflect upon and say, yes.. I was there. I was at a bar yesterday and bought a 75 year old man a shot of whiskey and he told me about seeing a group live in 1974. He had tattoo's and reminded me of better days we've all had. I miss the concerts, I miss the crowds, I miss the music but all in all, thank you Dropkick Murphies for continually conducting brilliant onstage performances to the mass', I will lend you my ears for life! RESPECT

They played right before Rammstein...thats allways a hard job on a Festival when Rammstein Fans stay there All day to get a good place. Especialy in germany...but they nailed it pretty well

Good sound but whoever was in charge of the cameras... too much jumping around, they did a 1.5 to 2.5 second jump where it would be best in my opinion to do a 4.5 to 5.0 second jump or maybe 3.5 to 4.5 seconds
