YES!!! As a tattoo artist, I love songs about tattoos...and the entire back of my right hand is covered with a rose tattoo dedicated to the memory of my mother, it has her name in it too as the song says...I love this song! Got a great mando riff in it too!

Just came across your channel when I typed in: “coolest mandolin.” I knew I had to subscribe when you played that 2 fingered Am! I discovered that on my own, cause it’s not in any online dictionary I’ve ever seen. I use it when I play “Under the Milky Way” by the Church. It’s not a mandolin song, but works really well: that Am, then lift the 1st finger (E) to open the (D) a Dm6?, then standard F and finally G. Looking forward to trying all these tunes. Thanks for being here!
