Exactly! Janet was the most normal of all of the group containing both psychopaths and sociopaths but Janet was worse than everyone. So funny and not so funny b/c this is really how people act in the workplace and life in general making the most normal person the scapegoat and the crazy one.
I can attest to eating fish in an office being the worst sin.
My male co worker ate tuna every day in the office. On occasion I ate jasmine rice. I was the only female in the office. Guess who got bitched at. Our office was across from HR. HR sucks.
@@Anne--Marie I microwave sardines at work and I don't even eat them. I think the smells gross but I know other people don't like it so I just keep doing it. I eat an egg salad sandwich every day so it's kinda like a double whammy. I make sure I drink plenty of black coffee and smoke a few cigarettes before doing some heavy breathing exercises. I only ever eat Mexican food when I'm not at work to make sure I'm farting as much as possible too. You're welcome.

Absolutely, he was a great psychopathic creepy dolls character and although I didn't mind some of the jokes in the last couple movies they almost forgot about chucky being a true horror movie for the original films atleast the first 3 were.

@@CBlargh I know this is all jokes and fun but Janet's situation was my entire childhood. It was really hard i had panic attacks and depression in grade school that i didnt understand. Had no authority figure to tell me that it wasnt my fault. It was so bad that anyone say a single nice thing to me will make me cry adn i would cry myself to sleep. I get why it's funny, it just hard for me to find it funny. Maybe it's hard to be sympathize with my problems but then

I wasn't gonna be like "boohooo poor poor me", but he did tell me not to be a Janet, too late, I was already one haha.
Very funny and unique. Not many sketches can combine HR with horror -- although the two are not necessarily mutually exclusive to begin with.
this was not funny at all. not even in the least bit. i didnt laugh once. whoever played chucky did a fucking terrible job and this skit is fucking terrible already chucky or not.
You have very low standards when it comes to comedy. Just having pop culture characters appear in sketches does NOT make them automatically funny. This sketch was just dumb and made no sense.

Remember when Sarah Sherman said she looked like Chucky if he went to Sarah Lawrence (which I'm pretty sure is Sarah Sherman's alma mater)? Well, this sketch is pretty much the punchline to that joke.
Rarely if ever has a new cast member had me from episode 1, but she’s been an absolute delight since the “and that thing’s going right in the trash” skit. I love her!

So proud of Melissa! I don't know her personally but had the pleasure of working on a short film she was in a while ago. Seemed pretty cool.
She visited my college and did an excellent job for a crowd that didn’t deserve her and she got on the phone with my sister who loved her on AGT and said hello and gave her some touring dates for her to write down. Very very kind.
Sarah Squirm just wants to make weird-ass demon noises so she writes sketches around it, and I'm all for it
Not just weird noises. Also show how disgusting and twisted the human body can be (see: the skin meatballs sketch on the Oscar Isaac episode).
Finally Human Resources gets outed as the low key sociopath farm it is...
And this was years after they had Cecily Strong as a stressed-out HR rep who drinks hand sanitizer because she has to re-educate people on what sexual harassment is, since it was around the time of the Hollywood sexual harassment scandals that followed after Harvey Weinstein got caught. With Cecily's character, you felt bad about her and how these horrible stories were taking a toll on her mental health. Here, we're laughing at Jake Gyllenhaal's character victim-blaming three women for bullying a psycho doll who stabs people.
This was actually pretty unique and funny, hoping SNL keeps their skits fresh and new.
I thought this skit was aimed at Jen Psaki because this Chucky looks so much like her.

What makes this so poignant is how many of us worked in dysfunctional, bureaucratic corporations and organizations where logic or even rationality don't exist. And HR, responsible for hiring worthless employees, get to act like school vice principals to "resolve" dumpster fires while protecting their own mistaken employee choices.

Sarah is so creative and puts great care into her concepts. This was very well put together. Aidy was my favorite part, especially when she asked why she was even there as they were all trash talking her.

@@garymcmillan6943 It's been better and worse but still pretty funny here and there. Some cast members have stayed on past expiration dates and that drags the show down in this era but.. it's not the worst it's been. That would be the 81-83 season minus Eddie Murphy and Joe Piscapo.

I agree. I think this was even better than last week’s (?) show with Oscar Issacs which I thought was a better than average show. I guess comedy is in the eye of the beholder. Some of these other folks hated it.
