This my third Big Town film and in my opinion the best one. I still need to see I Cover Big Town but am unable to find it on any download site. Any way thanks for posting this one.

Any viewers from NY? Although the movie is set in CA, I think that the combo jail and criminal courts building seen for three seconds (transition shot) between ~4:58 and ~5:01 was in NYC and nicknamed "The Tombs."

No, that building was for a long time LA's Hall of Justice -- across the street from what was then the federal courthouse on Spring Street in downtown LA. Today, the building is the HQ of both the county Sheriff's Department and the District Attorney.

Funny how many professional woman are portrait in old movies considering those times are now recalled as unprogressive . That said ,this is a great movie and full of action . And so are the women in it.
