Daughter of notorious Titan Pilot Viper, Valkyrie lost her father at a young age. She inherited her father’s love of flight, but not his sense of duty. Except in one regard. She swore to kill the man who’d sent her father to die: his Faction Leader, Kuben Blisk. But when the moment came to pull the trigger, she hesitated -- he spoke of Viper with respect. And he challenged her to be better. Valkyrie shot him anyway, but she didn’t take his life. Just his invitation card to the Apex Games.
Valkyrie’s jetpack - forged from the remnant’s of Viper’s Northstar Titan - allows her to fly above the battlefield for a limited time. When it’s time to swoop in for the kill, she can unleash a swarm of missiles to damage and disorient her enemy. And if things get too hot she can employ her Ultimate - which allows her and her entire squad the ability to quickly reposition and find the next fight. Valkyrie enters the games with something to prove and ready to rain death down from on high.

@@elipetrou9308 I think it's just gonna be useful for different situations. I dont see valks flying being used much as an avoidance tactic as much as Horizons will continue to be. Her flying looks slow, she cant shoot back, she cant heal or shield. Potentially the biggest benefit is how often she could use it over Horizons needing to wait on Q recharge. I can see a lot of people just getting instant beamed out of the sky trying to do some of the stuff they show her doing in this trailer. Will be neat to see what some good players do with her though, that rain of arc stars looks great.

Exactly. I have yet to not regret using path because of his overall utility in all situations. But this, this might make me learn how to use a diff character and get 2k kills again.

I was a northstar main in tf2, and this brings me happiness.
The slow descending is going to be really strong with high damage weapons. From above the head hitbox must be easier to hit too.
Respawn: Removes some balloons for less 3rd partying
Also Respawn: Adds a legend that is literally a balloon

@@limizzy yep, her tactical freezes her in place if you hold it while using the jetpack. Fuel is reduced when using it in the air however so its a nice stalling tactic. Her ultimate also seems very strong
I love how everyone is 1HP in every apex trails.

Yea she's really slow in the air, her jetpack ult is just a worse jump tower cause of the charge up because you're just standing still for 4 seconds. And her tactical is basically just a slightly better fuse knuckle cluster
And what do you know, not even a month and they're nerfering her jetpack because some pro players are complaining about the fuel draining slower when she uses her tactical. 😔
