Thank you so much!!!
@@PrestonHunsinger-un9ce not just for your age,for any age.
Well done young man!
Now I’m dating myself, but when I was a teen, my friends and I always went to Rush concerts. In the 70’s and early technology was at what it is today, but in concert, there were some songs that Lee would play that he played the bass at the same time playing the keyboard. One hand the bass and the other had the bass.
So cool. Geddy is an amazing individual!
Amazinggggg !!!!!!
This kid is amazing !awesome job man …there’s hope for the youth I guess …wow!
Those keys sound amazing
I would comment but I have to pick my jaw up off the floor…. Oh there it is… amazing!!!

SUBDIVISIONS
Righteous. It gives me great happiness to see the younger generation pick up on the greats of yesteryear. This was a very competent cover. Outstanding! The Rush catalogue is vast. Go explore! There's a lot more goodies waiting in there...
Thank you for the super positive comment!!! As far as the Rush catalogue goes, I’ve heard every album in its entirety, several times, with some of them probably going on hundreds ;)
Brilliant, Thanks for posting,
F8cking incredible!!
Looks like you spend all your time in your basement NOT playing video games. Love it
The majority of my free time is spent playing music!
dude this rocks!!!!!
Thank you so much!!!
damn that was good man.
. My favourite rush song, you've really done it justice well done!!! Hope those walls are sound proofed 🤘
Thank you!!! By the way, my neighbors love listening to Rush, whether they choose to or not ;)
AWESOME!!!!
Damn dude, I must say you are very impressive and Geddy would be proud.👍👍

In a word. OUTSTANDING!
Nice work that man
SO EPIC
THANKS FRIENDO
🤘Awesome job! Love your bass tone. I’ve got the same Rick (pale mapleglo 4003, pickup cover off)… maybe I can get that tone when my Geddy sansamp arrives. (It’s on order.)
Thank you! Geddy sansamp is awesome. I highly recommend pairing it with an EBS multicomp to get the best possible tone. In this video I’m running my bass through the dUg Pinnick DP-3X sansamp. Also an absolutely spectacular product!
AWESOME!!! i love your covers. :)
Thank you so much!!!
Super cool and thanks for sharing!!
Now all you have to is sing young man while doing all that. Great job
Amazing!
Rock on Preston, that Rickenbacker has great tone. Signals was my first rush concert.
If only you could find a Neil and a Alex replacement and a singer I guess too. We could have Rush all over and you guys could make a fortune playing as a Rush cover band. Please make it happen! Very talented dude, amazing. I envy you guys with the natural talent. See I learned all I could about music and instruments but I have no natural ear for it and I'll never be more than mediocre at best. You could go so far. Best of luck to you young man. RUSH Moving Pictures was the first cassette tape I ever bought when I was 16.
Thank you for the positive comment and your support! Keep playing yourself, if you love it, keep doing it!!
Great job man! Keep it going.
Amazing stuff man...old Rush fan here..keep it up....✌️
Bravo!!
Great cover! Excellent work on the keys, Love the Ric. That tone was nasty! Rock on!
Not correct on keys. He's cheating the part.
Very good job young man!
Holy shit that Rick sounds great, better than most videos.
The tone on my Rick is enhanced using the Tech 21 NYC dUg Pinnick DP-3X pedal!
well played !
Nice!
You sounds fantastic. I hope you grow your own art for many years to come. And I hope my own kids pursue music until they sound this good. Cheers!
Thanks for this lovely compliment!!
An AMAZING cover of one of my favourite songs! What keyboard are you using here?
Thank you very much! I’m using a Korg Kross 2. All of the sounds are through midi though, so none of the sounds are coming through the keyboard.
Words can't explain how good you are bro! i challenge you to cover all of Cygnus x-1 on bass and keys
Wow, thank you so much!!! I hope to do Cygnus at some point :)
A notificação chegou e vim conferir ...
Valeu a pena, obrigado Preston 👍🏻🤘🏻
Muchas gracias!!!
Hi Preston, can I ask you please what DAW are you using to record into ? And are you having the background music, keyboards, pedals and bass inputted into this DAW when recording ?
Hi!! So to record my bass I’m just using a little audio interface to record my bass straight into my phone, and that bass sound goes straight into GarageBand. For the keyboards, I’m running everything through midi in a program called Cantabile. I record my keys directly from Cantabile, and then import the audio file from my keys into GarageBand. And yes, all the background music is in GarageBand. For this particular song I had a drum track, a guitar track, and a vocal track in the background.
As a fellow teen bassist, how did you come up with the dough to get a Ricky? That or a jazz bass is what I’m trying to save up for.
Well my Geddy Lee jazz bass I bought myself with money I made from working, and the Ricky was a gift. My parents are super supportive of me and I’m really grateful for it.
@@PrestonHunsinger-un9ce that’s awesome. My parents are very supportive as well. I guess I’ll just need to thug it out with a job 💀. Awesome work btw.
@@Farewelltokingz Thanks so much! Glad you enjoy it :)
Slightly rushing on the bass guitar part but the tone is excellent.
how much did that ricky cost you lol
I’ll leave that up for interpretation.. 😂 But the Ricky was a gift from my parents, so I’m not entirely sure. Some of my gear I have bought myself by working though, for example my Geddy Lee jazz bass.
Dead on point. Keep it up. Gotta good future. Stay focused. 👍
Sorry I’m just seeing this now. Many thanks!!!
Nice!
