They pulled SJ Sharks type update when the Sharks modernized their logo in 07 and they added AN EYE
Anaheim made the right decision going the way they did bringing back the OG logo in a modern take and making it the primary logo.

Fun Fact: the Stick tape on the two hockey sticks appear to be the letter “W” on both sticks-correlating to ducks mascot “Wild Wing”
This logo has always been my favorite and now with the orange colors it puts the home uniform at the top for ME.

That away jersey is a 10/10 the home is nice maybe a bit too much orange for me gotta see it on the ice but they really knocked it out of the park
Excellent decision on the primary logo. Really wish they went with eggplant and jade the original 90s and early 2000’s colors but looking forward to hopefully an alternate with the original colors
I love the jerseys. The logo is a modern version of a classic, and using the current colours celebrates both eras. The only thing I'd change is on the home to have a black helmet and pants. BUT it is still vibrant and I think it is a big upgrade that they needed for a long time. 9/10

I’m not gonna judge the pants, sock, helmets, or gloves just yet because I wanna see how those look in translation to the uniform actually on the ice before I make a judgement call. I’m just gonna talk about the logo and the jerseys themselves for now. When I heard that the Mighty Ducks logo was coming back, my inner child squeed. When I heard it was gonna different from what I grew up with, I was definitely a bit cautious but remained optimistic. What we ultimately got might legit be even better than the original logo and I don’t say that lightly. It just feels like a more mature and less cartoonish version of the classic logo and that angry orange eye with the gold and black eyebrows make the logo look legitimately threatening. The gold details on the logo are also an excellent touch and I do like how the updated sticks turned out. The gold triangle on the back could maybe be upscaled just a little bit, but that’s not that big of a deal to me. So yeah, the team absolutely nailed it with the logo and in my opinion they now have the best logo in the league without question. As for the jerseys themselves, I had to give them a few looks to really formulate my full thoughts, but after seeing the orange jersey at the draft, I realized how sick the jersey looks. I’d say that the orange jersey is nicer than the white jersey for now, but I would like to see the white jersey in person before I really make a big judgement call there. But from what we’ve seen of both jerseys, they really nailed this rebrand and I’m more than pleased with what we got. Sure I do wish they had brought back the diagonal tail stripe cause that was my favorite thing about the classic uniforms ironically enough, and I still yearn for that detail to return someday, but won’t hate on an entire jersey just because on one missing detail. Also, orange is my 3rd favorite color so I ain’t complaining about going back to the old colors anytime soon, for as nice as that would be. The jerseys themselves are definitely one of the best in the league. Not sure I’d put them at number one like the logo, but they’re definitely up there.
These would be perfect if they had black pants. The jersey is great and I wanted them to go to all orange, new logo is fantastic, they kept my favourite logo the duck foot but a better version on the shoulder. Even the font is amazing. 10/10 on the jerseys but the uniform gets like a 6 or 7 due to the orange pants
Yeah the pants really should’ve been black. Maybe they’ll change that a little ways down the road.

5:28 imo the gold outlines in the logo adds some depth/perspective to the logo. Almost like a 3D effect

It is a different orange btw. It’s a darker orange like the oilers.
This new look is amazing. I'm beginning to like the Ducks a lot more, simply because of this new brand. The only thing I would change about the uniform is changing the pants to black. Otherwise, it's perfect!

The Ducks orange was the same as the Islanders, but it is now the same orange as the Flyers and Oilers.

Anaheim did the right thing, in my opinion, i agree with what you said, Anaheim's jerseys will go brom bottom 10 to top 10 in the league.
Definitely an upgrade, from the previous jerseys.
I like how the Ducks are not the only team going back to their old roots with the logo. I do like how orange is the primary color for the home jersey because we don't see anyone using a certain color (say purple for example) as a primary color. I rate this a 9/10. Why a 9? The jersey is great, I don't see anything wrong with it, but they need to lose the ad. That's why it's a 9/10.

Like a lot of people I've always been a fan of the OG logo, in the modern take doesn't deviate from the old. I think if the pants and helmet were black I would like it a little bit more than I already do. Of course the old color scheme of eggplant and teal might have been a better option but at the same time no complaints.
They need to switch to black pants but otherwise it’s a huge upgrade.

It’s funny how opinions differ, to me square shoulders look so odd to me, the rounded shoulders seem normal. The homes, I’m torn between the orange pants or if black would have looked better.

Personally, i like that Anaheim is updating their original look, but I'd like to see them get rid of the orange shoulder entirely, and go with black pants instead of orange. But overall a huge upgrade.

I think this logo is the best they’ve ever had. And I’m born in the early 80’s so I grew up when they entered the league. My favorite part is actually that they finally fixed the outline around the sticks. Before it was weirdly thicker. If there’s anything they should’ve done better on the uniforms it’s the home pants. I think they would look way better in black. It’s nice with color but sometimes it can be a little too much color.
Orange jersey is a win! Although the orange pants look terrible. The white jersey is horrible......the orange shoulders ruin it.
Home jersey 10/10...the full uni is a 6/10. Road jersey is a 6/10.....the full uni is also a 6/10.

Finally the Ducks is doing something good! Their D logo has been among the most unimaginative in the league. Such a boring logo, and their old logo is awsome. For me the ducks are white and purple. But this looks better. 👍

Cash grab. Disappointing, they could have made something really interesting. I don’t like how bold the logo looks, compared to all the other logos in the league the new logo looks extra thick and the white outline is just too much. If they just reduced the thickness of some of the strokes by a bit, it would be nice.
