MY INCIDENT - I am studying in kota . my sister is also here preparing for NEET examination. in 2022 when her exam came we booked 4-5 ola uber cars (2 days before examination) to go to the examination centre which was worth less than 150 rupees for my sister and her friends but on examination date everyone was saying that 700-800 rupees and cancelled the ride themselves. they had no fear of any complain. At last in hurry we found an auto ( it was too hard no auto was available here ) and went there for 300-400 rupees (everyone had different centres)

OLA % UBER charge 30 to 35 % commission on every booking and 5% additional GST. So Driver has to adjust profits in 60% and in this 60% amount he has to handle fuel and maintenance of car. And one more thing company never give extra money if he stuck in traffic jam. I already leave this job in February 2020. But lots of my friends are still working.

For your kind information M kai baar driver ko ye suggestion de chuki hoo koi driver iske liy तैयार nahi hua kabhi bhi . Kyuki ola uber koi bahut ki salarlta aur sahajta se pata chal jayega Kyuki location t on rahegi ki cancel k baad phir bhi Airport se उठाया , uske baad wo permanently account block kar denge
OLA % UBER charge 30 to 35 % commission on every booking and 5% additional GST.
So Driver has to adjust profits in 60% and in this 60% amount he has to handle fuel and maintenance of car.
And one more thing company never give extra money if he stuck in traffic jam.
I already leave this job in February 2020.
But lots of my friends are still working.

Apps have panic button and insurance button if we press it we get all required emergency help. If we do not book car or bike or auto by app in our state they charge 3 times actual price
Never cancel your ride bcs driver told me that it is 4 km away and pay me 10 rs per km but he took 10 km and started fighting for money and for my safety i had to give him 100 rs. Also you don't know what is going on in other person mind so don't trust any stranger so easily.

The companies has location access to both the driver and passenger devices, they should track if after ride cancelation the devices are in close proximity and moving towards the initial destination
They can't track customer after ride cancellation, customer will simply close the app.
