Picked up Hall of Dwarven King and Scrap on your rec. Printed and laminated during lunch. Played Dwarven King after work. Great fun with definite replay-ability. My dwarves are frustrating buggers!
Haha, yup those dwarves can be tricksy! Glad you're enjoying the games and thanks for letting me know!
Thank you for taking the time and effort to upload this.
Thanks for the great rundown of my game. Loving the channel.
You're welcome Mark, thanks for making such a fun game freely available!
Thanks for posting this! Definitely need to check these out
Make sure you do 😉 Hope you enjoy them when you get round to playing!
Thank you so much for providing the links in the description.
All part of the service! 😁
Thank you, i love discovering new games! ihave the first one printed out but havn't played it yet
6x6 Tales is great fun - hope you enjoy it!
I've watched half of those videos so far :) Notequest looks interesting...
Only half?! Get on it!
Only kidding, thanks for watching 😁 Notequest is a fun game - I recommend my playthroughs 😉
@@lone_adventurer I've tagged twoof your Notequest playthroughs to watch later. I just haven't had the chance to watch them yet.
Very cool. I might pick up Note Quest. I mean, $2 is a bargain.
NoteQuest makes a lot of fun to play.
Hope you check it out 👍👍
Note Quest is brilliant!
Appreciated the walkthrough of these! Wasn't familiar with any of them.
Happy to help!
Thank you!
Thanks for making this video. My brother-in-law and I have been discussing solo rpgs and Dungeon Blitz seems to hit the mark. Additionally, your recommendation for Note Quest is interesting. I was happy to get the basic PDF for free. I am very curious if the paid version has more on character advancement for a reason to continue play with the same characters.
Glad you found the video useful! My recollection is that the expanded version of the game focusses primarily on adding the ability to travel around and adventure overland. It also add a lot more dungeon types and rules for stuff like hiring companions and additional spells.
Awesome to see a Brazilian game here. I have 3 versions of it. Yeah, I'm a fan of the designer. Tiago has other great games too. At the moment I'm playing Artefatos de Kashih, looks like a gamebook with some combat twists.
Yup Tiago is great - I've also got Ronin sitting in the 'would love to have time to play pile' - good to know he's putting out more cool games! Brazil seems to be a hotbed of game designing talent (I know Ithaquas Bane is always shouting about Brazilian games).
Yeah, Ronin I got it too. Oooooh, check out Altaris. Great game lots of content and expansions. I have a physical Tiago collection, the editions are great quality and collectible.
Thank you for spreading the word for Notequest and Tiago.
@@lone_adventurer Dude. You need to play Ronin. Tiago does such a good job with his games. There's quite a bit of expansion for NoteQuest available if you know him or speak Portuguese.
@@jacobross6897 Would love to have more NoteQuest stuff - I know translation can be time consuming. I stumbled across another Tiago game the other day - a more traditional fantasy solo rpg game that has quite a lot of material (I forget the name), but it looked like some stuff was getting translated into English for it very soon. Excited for that one!
Yeah, I know - Ronin looks awesome!
Interesting list, thanks for sharing! checking out your Hall of the Dwarven King | Playthrough Part 1 next :)
You're welcome! Enjoy the Hall of the dwarven king playthrough - that's a fun game!
No Ironsworn? Seems like that free game should have topped the list
Your list maybe, Mark, but I haven't played it 🙂 I'd love to though!
@@lone_adventurer I’d love to see you do a take on iron sworn. And just in case you haven’t seen me myself and die. Check him out you are in for a treat.
@@lone_adventurer you should definitely give it a go
@@prepcooksurvive5807 I've watched all of his Ironsworn videos - the guy is an incredible gm / story-teller / solo-player! I really need to get round to watching his later seasons.
Iron sworn is a pretty crunchy system in my opinion. I tried to do a session with my wife and while it was possible, it was rather difficult to manage. It’s quite hard to get your mind around how the moves work imo. That said it has an amazing value for being free and totally worth a look.
Love Notequest, is the best!
It's a great game!
Hi . First time here .. i really enjoy your content! I know you are the lone adventur haha buuut can u give some recommendations about P&P games like this but for parties? Regards!!
Hi thanks for watching - glad you enjoyed the video! I do occassionally play with other people :) but don't have too many multi-player print and play games in my collection....Skulls of Sedlec is great, but only for two people (I think). Wonder Tales is fun and Mint Works is a great little game. I think they are probably all available on pnparcade.
@@lone_adventurer thanks! Very quick answer, But i need to correct my self, sorry. for p&p i mean pencil and papel, more specifically, adventure games.
@@leandroschenone7253 Ah! Well that's trickier - a lot of these games tend to be solo-focused. Four Against Darkness has a couple of pages explaining how to run as a more traditional group game, I think. And the game I'm playing now - Rad Zone Totality - has two player rules included.
But good question! I don't know but would be interested to see if anyone else makes any suggestions!
@@lone_adventurer Thanks again! i will see this 2 options, and i hope some else share others posibilities also :D
Great post.
Glad you liked it!
Hi. I have just found your channel, and enjoying watching some of your videos, just watched Iron Helm, can I just as I live in the UK too, where do you get the cards printed, I got them printed from a local shop but they are a bit thin, so was wondering what you did. Thanks Keith
Hi Keith, I'm afraid I do some home construction! I get them printed at Doxzoo on A4 paper and then stick them on to card using spray adhesive
@lone_adventurer thanks for the reply, I have done some searching in my board games and found some thicker sleeves, so spent this morning swopping them over, so they are better for shuffling
Hey, what do you think is a good starting point for a solo rpg / adventure game noobie? Thank you!
Hi! This video contains a couple I would suggest. 6x6 Tales is super fun and easy to get into and free! (Obviously, since this is the point of the video.) And NoteQuest Expanded Edition has ALOT of game in a little book. Really worth checking out if you think it might be your sort of thing.
@@lone_adventurer Thank you!
Couldn't find the download link to the 6x6 adventure... someone can assist me?
Looks like you can download it from the designer's website - jackdgames.com
As someone that follows a lot of rock climbing content alongside roleplaying content, the title of this video had me very confused for a few moments.
Ha you discovered my plan of appealing to rock climbers as well as gamers 😁
I like your videos on 1,5x speed 😅❤
Ah...thanks? 😛
I'm certainly not an expert, but the Muller Powell looks better
Maybe I'm missing something obvious, but I'm not sure what you're talking about 🙂
