The plates on the PS5 are removable and replaceable (aka made to be customized), and the replacements aren't expensive. She didn't ruin anything, not only because the art is stunning but also because even if he didn't like it he could replace it in a week tops.

Good advice 💗 She probably knows it already, but yeah, it's important, even acrylic paint (which is pretty sturdy when dried) isn't completely resistant to scratches or dirt. Use some nice varnish on every piece!

objectively, i knew her sanding the surface to prep for painting was sound and logical. subjectively, my heart sank, my balls retreated into my body and i let out a sound that can only be described as a cape buffalo letting out a death bellow. the sanding affected me on a primal level, watching it felt so wrong even though i knew it would be alright.

Some people paint over the whole console especially the parts without knowing that they destroyed them. I mean unless you tape the holes up i guess tgat could work?

@@CreepyGuy98 it has a gloss coat on it pre-sanding, so the paint won’t properly dry and will drip to the bottom, where there’s vents.

Was sanding the surface necessary? Acrylics usually stick to plastics with no problem at all
@@karlheinzekruger4733 they do, but with heat it peels off so she's sanding it so the paint has a better grip and won't come off
