Beautiful. Your "touch" isn't overly light and delicate. Hard to describe in harpist terms since this is new to me.

Thank you for your remark Susan. No, my "touch" is not light. I put full weight into each string in order to get the best fundamental pitch from each string. Otherwise, it would just be a slight sound with little to back it up. One should not "over pull" the strings, but a firm approach is quite effective. Thank you for commenting on that.

Rosemary, how prescient!! I had just today, after the NCAA decision, made exactly the same point. A quarter of men had the ability to make the decision for good and chose not to do so.

So perfect, I wish you could play it inside the column at the top of Coxcomb hill in Astoria Oregon

Thank you for your kind remark. I find this to be an especially powerful hymn at this time: "Once to every man and nation comes the moment to decide..."

Sir, this is a phenomenal piece here! Superb! I am currently working on a religious liberty series for my channel and was wondering if we might discuss the usage of this particular piece in that series. I very much enjoyed this and am persuaded that others too will be greatly enriched by it.

Please send me an email so that we can discuss your project. I appreciate your interest in my work. Ray Pool rpoolnyc@gmail.com (PS: to all ... I don't think there's anything wrong with making this kind of contact public. My email address is on my website and is no mystery. But if someone has dreadful tales of doom with giving out an email address, please let me know. Thank you.)

Timely again as domestic history unfolds in November of 2011. There was a moment to decide in 2002 at Penn State. That moment can never be recovered.
